My guess would be the two darts are there to replace the E200s and the ALX dart as cover.

The E200s went a while ago due to unreliability - they bought the 07 Solo to go on the 84, and the two red Solos cover the 56/82/88 and 87 diagrams, with B10BLE as backup.

And as a regular user of the 84 (for obvious reasons), YJ07VRK is ok but it has been known to be getting crowded on certain journeys - plus something with a bit more capacity maybe handy once the Bridge Closure on Durham Road starts in May depending on whether or not Stagecoach stick with the diversion the drivers have been informed of (which could mean further up Durham Road could be seeing 3 58s together)

I'd say 21145 would be a good vehicle for the 84 but it should be a newer bus

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
I would also add that VAG606R is somewhat overkill on most trips on the 84, it's just a small number that can get overcrowded on YJ07. Normally ones where the 58 is missing...

That and also we've got work going on in Stillington at present that will soon extend past the last stop in the village so they'll need to be some temporary arrangements put in place when that eventually happens. And of all the other places to turn round, VAG is a bit too large.

Is that meant to be a dig? FYI Bishopton would be a complete write-off compared to serving Stillington. All we need is to know what is happening while the new cable pipes are laid for the new wind farm. Various rumors flying around about what will be happening. I wouldn't like to be the person who has to solve this one out  Wink
