Nor will it be Hartlepool - Hartlepool are a midibus-only depot.

(13 May 2016, 6:19 pm)biglugs@yahoo.com wrote 5x to slatyford for 100
2x to shields for x20
Hope that happens
(13 May 2016, 6:21 pm)Tom wrote What would be the point in putting them on the 100?

No point putting them on the 100 - they have a smaller capacity than 27506-10 and that's the whole reason they are still on the 100 nearly 11 years after they were first purchased.

Oh aye, i'll stick with Stockton then.

Are they any different inside compared to the NE set up, like seat wise etc?

I'm putting my money on Slatyford, There's 27 E200MMCs to replace the same amount of MANs but with there being 45 Serviceable MANs under 54 reg or older there, Adding that to the reported cacade of surplus E400s from Walkergate and the replaced Slatyford E400s allocated to the 62/63 ( Which is presumed to be gaining E400MMCs ) , Them 7 Kinetics could potentially replace all 220** MANs at Slatyford. The 223** and 224** MANs will be staying for a couple more years id imagine.

Which makes it even more likely then they will go to Slatyford, And also considering Slatyfords MANs are by far the worst condition MANs in the fleet....

RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - May 2016
We don't know where they are going. No cascade plans are set in stone.

I wish I hadn't mentioned anything now....

Only a select few know where they are going.

No one knows where the E400's will go either, we'll just have to wait and see, we don't even know when the new buses will arrive at Newcastle....

A bit late... but still:
The routes are 62: North Walbottle-Killingworth Bus Station, this interworks with 63:
Chapel-House-Killingworth Bus Station

The X63 doesn't serve any of the above locations, it goes from Monument to Killingworth West Bailey not calling at Killingworth Bus Station, it runs anti-clockwise round Killingworth

I really, really hope they go on the 6/7/8 as I use it a lot, or even better the 32 Tongue

Out of the 4 X63s 3 of them run onto 62/63.

18:30 63
18:42 62
19:12 62

The last x63 is the only one that doesn't run onto a 62/63

Services 5 and 5A:  Following contract changes, Monday to Saturday daytime buses are revised and will no longer serve the Docks area. Alternative facilities to this area of the city will be provided by another bus company. All buses will run as Service 5, serving East Herrington, and will no longer run to Doxford Park. Evening and Sunday buses, operated on behalf of Nexus, will continue to serve the Docks area, running clockwise as Service 5.These evening and Sunday buses will also serve Farringdon and the East Herrington area, improving direct links to the Royal Hospital during these times

Ah but there are six ALX300s and six could go here and two could transfer to Slatyford.

No reason why they have to always be. Didn't used to be. Would be better with bigger buses on the 1.

Shields Doesn't need 4 Full Size Single Decker's though, 22067 and 22070 are in very good condition compared to Slatyfords examples, It will also benefit Stagecoach more to replace Slatyford's first id imagine.

I agree, The queue in Middlesbrough for the 1 is ridiculous every time I'm up there, Either bigger buses or the frequency needs to be doubled, Though the latter might need more buses than Hartlepool has.

RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - May 2016
It would need a full timetable overhaul aswell as the High Tunstall - Seaton portion is every 10 minutes. If they were to look at upping the frequency, the logical step would be to put the Middlesbrough extension to every 20 minutes. I think the spare vehicle allocation would be able to cover the PVR increase on that also

The service pattern in Seaton is enough to give you a headache as it is with every 3rd bus (boro bound) going the opposite way around the loop.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - May 2016
I have to agree with you. Would make more sense in my opinion to renumber the Seaton only buses as the 1A or the 2 so passengers can differentiate
