Also does anyone know why there is a cream coach with BURNSIDE written down the side in blue in ST's Stanley depot.

..and it went straight back to R97 LHK (R6 STX) today.

6002 is a reserve vehicle - mainly used on the Tanfield 1195 alongside K2 STX due to being high floor. No idea about the other 2 though.

Burnside are a small coach company from Burnopfield that store their vehicles in ST depot.

LK03 NJX expired while operating scholars 18A this morning in Byker, no replacement bus was available and scholars 151 was also cancelled this morning. Lots of people I know we're very, very late to school this morning

Does the tender for this service specify the bus must be English? Bit discriminatory if it does. Think of all those Scanias, Mercedes and Volvo's being refused work on the basis that they're foreign; it's not right (or should that be Wright!) is it?

Even more bizarre. I just think a bit of consistency is required. Go North East have it as Flint Hill as did Hunters.

I wouldn't be surprised if the amendment is the withdrawl of the Saturday service so it runs Monday to Friday only.

To be honest I've never saw the 713 with many passengers! Probably because the V7/V8 normally run just in front of it so you'd think they would change the times to even the times out between the 713 and V7/V8.

Based on the timetable, the change is the extension of the service from Robson Terrace down to Ewehurst Road at Flint Hill.

I'd imagine it would be the decker that is based over in Sunderland interworking with a scholars service.

6018 is at albatross so id say that unless stanley send a solo or another decker down as albatross usually have 2 Stanley Travel buses during the school year

Like the three buses at Byker (S4 STX, LK03 NJE and LK03 NJX)

None of the solos should be moving out of the main depot at Stanley. All 3 are required for services (2 on the Cathedral Bus and 1 on the 713). Plus the 701 requires a bus with a minimum capacity of 60.
