(22 Nov 2016, 7:32 pm)Adrian All,

I've trimmed some posts down, as people quoting the original post on the E400 demo were re-posting the images with it, over and over. This makes the thread very difficult to follow on a mobile screen.

Please try and crop quotes a bit, as it does help! Smile

The photos only appear as links for me, anyhow.

(22 Nov 2016, 8:58 pm)Ambassador This is going on the Angel?! Ridiculously over spec for the Angel but it would certainly make me think twice when the X12 turned up if GNE were offering this on service.

It's nice to see them think out the box. 9099 has been excellent from a passenger point of view , far preferable to the Streetdeck imo.

Come oooon GNE, this is your chance to put the 21 right. No govt grants to fudge, no awful single decker choices, no London cast offs....you can do it!! ???

No, it's being trialed on the ttx

(23 Nov 2016, 12:48 am)Simmy A bin I am guessing. The blue lights will operate to illuminate the floor at night.

That's right.

With regards to the various buttons on the backs of the seats - one is the normal bell push, one is a USB power socket to charge mobile devices and tablets, and the other is an LED light. The LED light can be set to on, off, or dimmed. You press the little light to turn it on, press it again to turn it off, or press and hold it to dim it to your preferred setting.

It's obviously the highest-spec'd bus you can get as it was displayed at the NEC Bus & Coach show earlier this month - very few operators will actually pay for all of those optional extras.

Yes, on service 21 until Sunday 4th December, and then to Riverside for the TEN after that.

Would of thought there would of been kept in the express livery and stuck them on the X84/X85.

Enviro 400s have always been a step ahead of the competition both in performance and appearance and this latest version puts it even further ahead. The Streetdecks are OK in appearance, apart from the wide pillars by the top deck front window, which I gather have been redesigned on the latest versions, but are lacklustre in performance.
