I would have thought whatever method used then (whether its smoke signals, morse code or mobile phone) would be suitable on a night too.

Just did a quick search for 'Eminox' and found this if anyone wants to do any digging.

During these times the route looks split to only run Metro Centre to Lobley Hill and also Whitley Bay to Wallsend Metro, leaving the middle section between Wallsend and Lobley Hill without service.
If Riverside do operate this part of the route at an evening or on a Sunday, do they have a branded vehicle or is it allocated a corporate livery vehicle?

(28 Nov 2016, 2:35 pm)RBZ 5459 wrote It'll be all the Scanias that are listed as Euro 5 on the fleet list which will have had that particular Eminox work done. Physically, it's anything that has the small extra grill next to the engine/radiator grill on the N/S. Think 4949 is the exception to this as it received a brand new Euro 5 engine after its fire.
Some of the other more elderly ones have been up'd to just to Euro 4 in the past, but that will just be the simpler mod/traps GNE have done on their terms without funding.

(28 Nov 2016, 7:56 pm)Andreos1 wrote Sorry, missed this earlier.
It may do. I have no idea if it is.
Would it work in areas where reception/signal is poor? Just as an example, the dip at Leazes Bowl has a terrible effect on the radios and that isn't too far from control. It isn't too exposed fortunately, unlike some of the far flung reaches of the A19.

It did receive the extra grill as found on the others, Aswell as a additional small grill underneath the main grill, Which extends all the way down to the bottom of the body.

(28 Nov 2016, 11:49 pm)Michael wrote Ye, don't think it'll happen anytime soon too, Chester have no Citaro's so i don't think they'll get any because of Depot standisation.

RE X7 NOW NOT SERVING WINGATE AREAS, WHY NOT REROUTE X9 TO COVER THIS AS YOU HAVE TWO SERVICES JUST GOING STRAIGHT DOWN A19. KEEP X10 AS FAST EXPRESS TO BORO, AND X9 AS THE SLOWER STAND ALONE EXPRESS. ANYONE GOING END TO END WILL KNOW THE X10 WILL BE QUICKEST,AND ALL THOSE PASENGERS THAT ARE BEING DISGARDED NOW x7 IS WITHDRAWING FROM WINGATE, WILL HAVE GOOD REASON TO CONTINUE USING GNE CONNECTION TO BOROUGH.
