I heard it was May thank god they have brought it forward. Arriva's effort of running the 472 has been very poor and the vast majority of locals much prefer to deal with Travelsure than Arriva hence why they've won the war between them.

The issue is that response shouldn't be required, and wheelchair users should be able to board buses. Obviously a broken ramp is slightly different (provided it was checked and worked on a first use inspection, and the defect happened in service), but the reports on here and elsewhere indicate that GNE have been knowingly sending out vehicles that cannot safely board wheelchair users at various bus stations, due to the centre door position of the ramp.

I dont understand how they were able to run it for so long with double deckers but from my observations at least, it's carried roughly the same number of passengers on a single decker as it was when it was allocated a double decker, unless the changes last year were a last attempt to get the service to work. |
