Traded in against this was Volvo B9R Plaxton Elite now registered NA14RCY.

Mini Pointer Dart T550HNH has been withdrawn from use. It's 745DUY plate is now on a new addition a 2004 Volvo B12B Berkhof

Following the closure of Shaun's Minibuses of Ripon, Hodgsons are now operating contracted service 153 between Thirsk and Northallerton.

Hodgsons have acquired Solo's NA52NJV and NA52NJX from Glen Valley Tours - NJX is on the 70/71/72 in Barnard Castle today.

Solo NA52NJV has now been repainted white. It was out on their first day of operating Newton Aycliffe services 17/879.

A recent addition to the Hodgsons fleet is former Thandi Transbus Dart SN03WLL.

Hodgsons have now registered Darlington services 29, 34, 72 & 610R starting on April 29th (can't be bothered copying and pasting VOSA registrations lol)

Connect Tees Valley have uploaded the new timetables for the Darlington services, similar frequencies to the current offering from Dales & District although additional trips have been added on service 72, on weekday mornings there will be a 72 to Northallerton  departing from Darlington at 06:45 and an additional Monday - Saturday evening departure to Darlington departing from Northallerton at 18:10

Today (April 29th) was the first day of Hodgsons operation of services 29, 34, 53, 54, 55, 72 & 610R.

Services 29, 34, 53/54/55 & 72 were operated by recently acquired Enviro 200's SN65OHE, YX17NDY, YX17NTO & YX17NTT which have all gained a new livery for Hodgsons stagecarriage bus operations.

A couple of unreported additions to the fleet are 10.8m Enviro 200 YY66 PCZ and MAN/Plaxton Centro MX59 KUE. MX59 KUE is currently not in use, pending service prep and repaint.

Solo S24 BUS is parked up off fleet.

On the coach side, new additions are 61 seat VDL Futura 2 YD19 GTY and 57 seat VDL Futura 2 YD19 GTZ. Also in service is Mercedes 815D/Sitcar Beluga YJ06 GLV. Scania Omniexpress YN16 UAO has departed.

Solo S24 BUS has been sold.

Certainly is. It is due to be returned early December.


11.4m TransBus Trident/President SN53 AVZ is with Hodgsons operating home to school contracts, former Lothian 633.

14m tri-axle Bova Futura Magnum YE03 VSM and 12m Bova Futura WA05 OSD both joined the Hodgsons fleet earlier in the Autumn, along with Ford Transit RO13 HPZ. Scania Interlink Finesse YN17 ONT has departed.

A few changes over the past few months not noted:

Ex Lothian Trident SN53 AVU is now on the fleet and has been re-registered YIL 1595.
SN53 AVZ has been re-registered MUI 6061. The Dennis Javelin that had the MUI 6061 plate on has been parked up for some time and reverted to it's original registration.
MAN/Centro MX59 KUE has been re-registered UDZ 447.
Iveco BX17 XBP has been sold.
Volvo B11R/Plaxton Elite SD16 AAG has joined the fleet, ex Parks of Hamilton.
Trident/President LR52 KXH has also joined the fleet, previously with JH Coaches.

The Hodgsons fleetlist should be up to date now, though there are a few vehicles that I have question marks on in my own spreadsheet if anyone knows what happened to them....
