Wouldn’t be too worried, only carries 5 or so people a day, should be coming off soon.

I would be worried if I was one of the 5 waiting with a few bags of frozen shopping though.

The provision of a bus service was a condition of the Tesco planning permission:-
One condition was that bus services would be provided during the life of the store unless otherwise approved.

Now it appears that a further LIDL store is planned for Delves Lane.

Could be 5337, then 5338, then 5325, 26, 27 and finally... 5305-09.

Two further demonstrator vehicles in at Go North East are:
- a full-size Streetlite Micro-Hybrid 3 (SK17 HHL), which is the same one Arriva North East had in August
- a Mellor Strata minibus (LM17 WHD).

The Streetlite was delivered this afternoon, while the Strata will be delivered tomorrow morning.

The Tyne Valley Ten livery has vinyls advertising NSAs (Talking bus) - whereas the vehicles have not had NSAs for many many months.

Is it absolutely necessary to go over this again?

Why advertise a feature that doesn't exist?

I would think the Mellor Strata will be going to Hexham to be trialled on the 185/681.

As for the "Shitelite" I think that'll go to Riverside for the Quaylink, if not Stanley on the ToonLinks.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2017
I see the Mellor Strata is for sale on their website at £89500 + VAT

I believe it is for the 680 shuttle bus, hence why 636 has left Hexham.

Yes - Strata to be allocated to the 185/681 cycle as usual (only thing that it's suitable to evaluate performance on, really). This releases a Solo SR to operate the 680S Brunton Crossroads service. Streetlite to be allocated to the 34 at Chester-le-Street - filling the void on this service.

Fleet numbers to be allocated this morning - quite likely that the Streetlite will be out in service by this afternoon, for those interested.

Washington have been undertaking a lot of work on 3941/42, so that they're "on par" with 3943 so to speak.

3941 has only just recently returned to service, but 3942 hasn't been back out in service yet. This is why the OmniDekkas have yet to transfer to Stanley (and why Stanley retain the last B7/Tridents).

Plain red - should both be painted in full fleet livery next year when things quieten down.
