My guess would be a Durham 7 with the wrong duty entered

Copied from odd workings thread - I've heard a few mentions of the impending delivery of these StreetLite's but each time only the 1/5 have been mentioned, nothing said about the 12/19, whether there is reason for this or not, I don't know.

I've had a crazy thought, the 23 is supposedly joining the Sapphire brand, I don't know what the 1/5/5A PVR would be if the above is true although I think when they interworked like before it had a PVR of 9 I think, if this was the same again, I have had a thought of somewhere else the remaining new StreetLite's would go:

Displace the 63 plate Pulsar's off the 7 and replace them with 4 new StreetLite's (3 at Darlington and 1 at Belmont) although you would have to use one of 1595-1601 to make up the full PVR of the 7, then allocate the Sapphire  7 branded Pulsar's to the 23 and some more of the standard livery Pulsar's would remain at Darlington depot for the 8/8A, 12/19 etc. This idea would save on the cost of refurbishing buses to Sapphire standard for the 23.

Highly doubt this would ever happen, will probably be as before except the 12/19 will no longer interwork with the 1/5/5A.

Since I live in east Durham I would prefer the 22/23/24 be all pulsars in the new sapphire colours with east Durham on the side and not route branded and the streetlites from the 22 and 23 to go to Darlington.

Think the 23 examples are destined for Jesmond to replace the last of the Volvo B10BLE's.

All should have been done last week. Rears should have been amended too.

Internally, one of the maps for the 22 (or 24) has been removed, and replaced with one for the service that it is missing.

30 minutes later another streetlite went past but still had the originally 22 logo along the bus.

Give them time. They've only had 6 weeks. They might even finish the job of changing all the rear end maps, if you're patient.

If anyone is wanting photos of the Tempos then make sure you get them soon. They'll be displaced shortly!

Where are they off too?
RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - December 2017
How long have ANE been including depot names on their NIS?

Haven't long seen a Streetlite with:
'Not in Service'
 Redcar Depot
'Illegitimis non carborundum'

Going back to Yorkshire, to be replaced by more cascades in the form of VDL SB200 Commanders

Not seen that.

Neither had I until last night.
I assume it had worked an X3/A, as it was heading along the A174 towards the New Marske roundabout.
Too far away (and too dark) to get the vehicle id unfortunately.

RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - December 2017
They all have it as far as I know. It's just an alternative to the main NIS screen, which most drivers use the default.

Yes although they're lined up to replace Solos I believe, and the expected cascade of Pulsar's will replace the Cadets.

All depots? Or just Redcar?
Thanks for clarifying that its an alternative option.
Can't decide whether it's a good thing or not.

Would imagine all depots have these displays, I've definitely seen Darlington Depot and Belmont Depot pop up, possibly Blyth Depot as well. Would imagine the usual Not In Service blind should be used but these probably get selected half the time instead, the Frequenta, Sapphire and MAX logo displays sometimes do as well.

There's no Not In Service/Depot blind for Northumbria. Andreos said he saw a vehicle displaying Not In Service with the depot below it. Unsure as to what Durham County's are at the moment, as there's various files made by various people.

All of ours are as follows:
Ashington Depot / Arriva North East
Blyth Depot / Arriva North East
Newcastle Depot / Arriva North East
Not In Service / arrivabus.co.uk
MAX
Sapphire
Frequenta
Arriva North East / Welcome Aboard
Arriva North East / a DB company
and a few more...

As mentioned previously, the Sapphire Pulsars and Streetlites on services 22 & 24 are currently in the process of receiving joint route branding.

The freshly tarted up Streetlite we saw on Saturday had half of one of the 2s missing
