Reminds me of when we had a Vauxhall Cavalier, back in the previous century, sometime. That didn't like cold mornings, either.

Nice shots too, look even smarter than I remembered.

Dont know why GNE brand buses to then put adverts over the branding
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2018
6330 is in service today. Currently working a southbound 21 to CLS at Gateshead Metro at ~1105.

I think it looks naff.
However, they're stuck between promoting a brand and making money through advertising.
Something has to give and this seems the middle ground.

Aye, the Omnidekka's should also be spare along with the 2 spare B9s, should play part as spares.

Wasn't on a normal Coaster board - it was on a scholars board (does scholars 664, then X39, then a 1). They should all be in service on the 1, properly, tomorrow. The few that made their way out on various services today were to avoid losing mileage due to a high VOR.

6069 will be the spare for Coaster (PVR 14), in Big Days Out livery.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2018
What's happening to the old B7s currently on the angel?

Had the misfortune to travel on 3965, this morning. Nee heating. Poor driver couldn't even de-mist his windscreen adequately while it was -4, outside.

For now at least while the campaign is ongoing, it's staying the same as it is (the country version of Big Days Out livery).

Looks like the Volvo Olympian's haven't got long left on the Jewish school contracts, they'll be replaced by OmniDekka's, once the ex London B9's start to enter service.

That would be a complete waste of money.

6069 retaining its Big Days Out branding does mean that 3 of the buses branded are based out of 1 depot. Social Media and on-bus posters make up for it, but I'd have thought that spreading them out across the region would be best to raise awareness, especially to those who do not use social media/the bus to see the adverts.

Yeah I agree, maybe 5274 should go to Stanley or Washington. Then again isn't 5274 branded for something to do with Tynemouth.

It's branded for the seaside, maybe more suitable for the 5 / 50.

I'm still new to all this and getting used to it but I was on the X10 heading to Middlesbrough today and had a question about the Gemini 3s and would also apply to the new Streetdeck Hybrids. I know several people have expressed the negative side to the large rear advertisement but does it effect the integrity of the rear window being an emergency exit. As a student of engineering, it would seem to me that the rear advertisement may effect how easily the window breaks in an emergency (however unlikely it were to happen). Surely it would not have been added if this were a factor.

P.s sorry if this has already been asked

Five - 6056/60/61/63/64.

6062 is VOR, and 6057 (Angel branded, which had been used at Percy Main for driver familiarisation) is now at Saltmeadows for repaint.

I asked a similar question a few years back, in relation the now Washington based Omni's.
Huge vinyls over the emergency exit windows and doors.

Apparently they're ok to use.
Will try and find conversation that followed and post it here.

Only 7 Coaster will have advert frames, branding has been designed to fit in the advert frames.
