Timetable can be found here: https://www.nexus.org.uk/sites/default/f...180318.pdf Some more info I found somewhere on Facebook: Four tenders were received for the 808 service. The successful operator will be Phoenix Taxis who are based in Blyth They will use 22 seater coaches that have 2014/15 plates The service will leave Otterburn at 07:00 (five minutes earlier than the present service) The ticket cost will increase for a single ticket from present figure of £3.80 to £4.50 and for a return from £6.50 to £7.60. However I am advised it is likely there will be a weekly ticket available that should reduce costs. Phoenix Taxis will start the service from 19 March hence no gap in the service. |

Very good if you consider gne charge two pounds ten from deckham to newcastle adult single. A distance of two miles. It's about thirty miles from Newcastle to otterburn. Wonder If phoenix will outstation a vehicle at otterburn overnight. Charles |

(09 Mar 2018, 2:33 am)Jimmi wrote Timetable can be found here: https://www.nexus.org.uk/sites/default/f...180318.pdf The timetable looks to be a lot more achieveable. The old PCL timetable suggested just a 7 minute journey time between Newcastle and Ponteland - no idea how they got away with that for so long? |

The other change is the route - Phoenix have registered the route along Fenham Hall Drive with a "Fenham" timing point there as well.

Haven't seen or can find any reference to it on VOSA, nor does it really fit in with gaps in boxing day services. Random... |

It's running mid afternoon to late evening on Boxing Day.
Very strange as no late kick off match involved as originally thought. |

RE: Phoenix Coaches
It supplies a local service between Ashington, Cramlington, Bedlington & Blyth (with no service on the 1, 2, 19 and 43), so quite handy if it does run.
