The changes for 7th April, haven't appeared on the GNE site yet either.

Indeed. Everything else would have to only be a temporary measure and, as I say, from a mechanical perspective, i would think that it would be easier just to keep the 4 Omnis until then.

Vehicle type that has been with the depot non-stop since 2007 vs. one that has never been based out of that depot before outside of a loan (Solar/Versa - i withdrew the idea of Citaros straight away) is my logic for that one.

In terms of a lack of publication, it is unusual given the changes are now just 2.5 weeks away and the average notification period is 4 weeks. Perhaps they want to avoid advertising two sets of changes at the same time? They will have a plan.

Yep. Recipe for disaster having two sets going at the same time, and given how minor the Stanley/Consett changes are, there's no massive need to get them out prior to the service changes happening in North Tyneside.

Does any one know if 6115/7 will get just an internal refurb and retain their current special liveries or get repainted too?
Thank you in advance.

From memory, in the past, spare buses of the same standard usually get the internal refurb similar to the branded examples, would imagine they will both be repainted into the new corp livery, but that's just a guess.

709 has received a promotional livery for the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Rugby Continental Shield.

Go North East is an official partner for the tournaments which will be held at Newcastle United's St James's Park on the 10th/11th May 2019.

709 can be seen in the livery below.

JM03 I gave to you 6000 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adammalark...ed-public/

Elsewhere Scania Omnicity 5246 (NK56 KHR) has been repainted into the "Old" corporate livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/adammalark...ed-public/

I am convinced however this carries the lighter shade of blue which 5452 has, could just be my eyes.

Also Deptford based Optare Solo SR 681 (NK66 CWW) has been sanded down ready for repaint, anyone want to take a punt on what will happen with this one.

6115 is already part of the PVR. 6116 & 6117 will also both form part of the increased PVR which will be 17 vehicles (10x 309 and 7x 310) so the full batch of 17 will be getting done (please confirm Dan / Citaro).

I reckon once all the depot movements occur once the new depot in Consett opens we could see bigger vehicles on the 33's, I've used the service a few times to/from the city centre to silksworth and it does get quite busy.

So you might not be far off with it going into corporate livery, should've been painted this afternoon, if not tomorrow morning.

Aye maybe, i never use the 33, so can't comment on passenger numbers, wonder what Deptford would get in exchange for them?

However, with the Scania's due to leave anytime soon (not confirmed if Deptford will lose the Scania's atm!), i wonder if they'll limit the "Black Cats" brand to just the 2/2A and 39, and are getting ready to drop the brand from the Solo's?

There's quite a spread of pink Solo's, so wondering if that network will be extended at all.
East Durham, Washington, Derwentside, North Tyneside and now Sunderland?

It would allow for more flexibility in the vehicle allocation to the mini bus services at Deptford as whenever a branded vehicle is missing off of the 33's/238 & 700 nine times out of ten it is another branded vehicle covering which may have the same or lesser specification than the usual vehicle.

I've seen in the last few weeks Streetlites, 10reg Black Cats Solo's, Scania L94's and Volvo B7 Gemini's allocated to the service, the goes for the 700 when that has one missing literally anything which is spare gets allocated.

Then you Peterlee who always have a vehicle shortage and end up nicking one of the vehicles which is meant to be allocated to said service, I think Go North East could do with a larger float fleet, say of around 8 vehicles which would consist of x2 mini buses, x2 midibuses, x2 full sized singles deckers and x2 double deckers.
