Anyone got the timings for these services?

Also are these the ones that they have acquired or are they on loan whilst awaiting delivery of new vehicles.

I thought the new ADL single decks were going on the 97, but in a Twitter comment just now Martijn seems to have confirmed they're heading for the 93/94. Maybe it's old news to you lot though

Hmmm first I've heard. The plan originally was for 97. No doubt that clears up where RK streetlites will be heading....

Apparently 97 is getting new buses, 93/94 are getting refreshed double deckers.
Looks like he got confused with all the numbers!

Nice to see 6333 out today with all the X-Lines vinyls applied inside

It does look rather smart in person and not at all tacky like ones Arriva have on some of theirs

The gold and blue is starting to grow on me as well, but I still prefer the Castles Express

Also, still no NSAs. I thought they were supposed to go live when it switched over to X-Lines

On the centrelink that the X66 takes between Teams and Gateshead, quite amazing a GNE driver would even attempt that, the highest buses that can fit are Solars.

Surprised the Metro wasn't suspended at such a bridge strike?

I was playing around with the app earlier and noted 3976 stopped on Centrelink set up for route 64. I guess it was running empty to Gateshead for the 16:05 run.

Well, you've seen the speed the drivers normally go along there on the X66. It seems they have their foot to the floor until they get to the junction

I suspect(although could be wrong) that the impact was not as severe as the picture may suggest as I would imagine before the bus gets on the tow, they will take the whole roof off for safety reasons. The lack of damage to the seats suggests why I think this could be the case.

Mind there are some ridiculous comments on here. Lots of people trying to play judge, jury and executioner.

We make a point not being overzealous in our moderation of this kind of discussion, whereas many other groups do. That doesnt give people a free rein to take the piss though.

The bus has been de-roofed and everyone can see the photos... let's leave it at that!

Nexus have revised their contract requirements meaning vehicles with a greater capacity are needed, hence the swap. The Gemini must be able to get by DCC requirements.

Speaking of Omnidekkas somebody was asking about the Omnidekkas from Brighton. Well I looks like not all are coming up if any now as 6 are going to bluestar for college Routes. I remember someone saying that they were cancelled (about March time) due to condition and that may be correct as ex 905 is having to have a good refurb by the looks of it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/59115230@N06/48658099282/
