I think that doesn't really matter too much. Was more annoying have the first B9s from 6001-6007 then having the presidents inbetween the next batch of B9s...then the omnidekkas and then more B9s

None of it really matters to be honest!

This is basically going to be the same though, it'll probably be 7 StreetDecks, 7 B5s, 22 StreetDecks, 4 E400s, 27 StreetDecks

All it means is when someone on here says 6308 or 6315, I have to work out whether they're talking about a StreetDeck or a B5!

Well to be fair they have same bodywork Tongue

Least the colouring will be grouped together apart from 16 plates. Hoping the black Xlines will look just as good as the graphic

So when the streetdecks hopefully arrive for the X lines services from Consett will the rear be black or as has been suggested elsewhere, green like the E400’s or a mixture ?

Just wondering if the X5/15 would be different to say X45/46 as it would run to a completely different place?

There are definitely some green StreetDecks, one of them could be seen at the Wrightbus factory parked outside, along with one of the X21 StreetDecks.

I believe it has been hinted at that X31/X45/X46 and X47/X70/X71 will be different colours, I'd guess

Do we know when the E400s will be out in service yet?
Dan said that the launch was supposed to be last Sunday and the OmniDekkas are temporarily allocated for a week so does that mean the launch will now be this Sunday?

Also, with Arriva increasing the frequency of the 6 to half hourly between Bishop and Durham on a Sunday, I wonder if GNE will follow suit with the X21

Do we know if they'll all be going out on Monday, or will it be like with 97 and just one or two will be out to start?

Apparently the 74 is changing route from Monday (first bus and last bus on weekdays, the first bus and the 17:35 service from Eldon Square on Saturdays) but there is no info, anyone know about this?

When are the Northumberland County Council bus contracts up for renewal?

Saw someone put something on Facebook it was on the 49/49A, managed to catch it at the Metrocentre. Wasn’t a complete waste of journey as got a photo of 6033 on the 197 as wanted one before it’s withdrawn

Is it still on the 49s now? I'd quite like to compare it back to back with a Streetlite

Would expect it to be still on. Overall from other enthusiasts it sounds like ride quality is exceptional compared to the Streetlites, but the Streetlites perform better on the hills (takes a while for the E200 to wind up on inclines!). A shame they went for the 4-cylinder E200 after demonstrating 6-cylinder ones. The six-pot ones on Benwells are superb on hills, but hey ho - not all about the speed, they look the part and a vast improvement to the service.

For me, the main reason why I prefer the E200 over the Streetlite is the rattling door!

When I had a ride on one of the E200s round Whickham it was struggling to get up the hills even with only a few people on

There's struggling mechanically wise and just making use out of the gears. I'm sure after a few weeks of gearbox mapping around the route they won't be too bad.

Even after it had dropped a few gears it was still struggling. The driver mentioned to the next driver that he thought there might be something wrong with it. I didn't go through Whickham today so it might have just been that one

Could it be something to do with new houses being constructed near Callerton Bridge? Heard road going to be closed Westbound for several months with traffic diverting via A69.

Thank you. It could be that as the A69 was mentioned. Apparently only the first morning and last afternoon trip will be changing though.  Do you know where it will rejoin normal route?
