I have only seen the new buses on the 30/40, but they might have NSAs for service 12 ready for putting new buses on there.

I haven't been on the new buses yet. Gutted. I guess the 62/63 won't get me buses. The 22 might do?

Any reason why the 397s are banned from the 10/11 when they are compliant?

RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2020
The new School and College work at Stockton are:
SL06 High Pittington to Durham St Leonard’s School
Sedgefield Community College
S193 Stillington
S197 Wynyard

They also seem to be dissapearing off 17/18 too, presumably to stop one ending up on the 11. The MANviros along with 35188 seem to mostly be on 3/4/7/8 now.

Would it not be easier, quicker if Wheatsheaf or Hartlepool depot did these, I saw the decker this morning going through wingate towards a19 to head south back to the depot?

The Sedgefield College runs are within easier reach of Stockton then Hartlepool anyway.
Understand that Stockton are doing the St Leonard’s run instead of Wheatsheaf due to Stockton’s drivers all having the necessary CRB checks for school work unlike Wheatsheaf’s.

There is a clean air zone at Cobalt South I noticed last month when I was last over that way.

Thanks thought this might be the reason 37' are being used instead of 39'

ALX300s are used on the 22 occasionally so I don't see why the MAN200s can't access Cobalt. It also seems it's on Saturday journeys aswell...

I thought the clean air zones were just to prohibit smoking at the bus stops. GNE always used to use the V reg presidents on the 309/310 loads when they were around you could rarely go a week without one on the 309/310 until 6910-14 came in 2018

You might be right, Cameron. I only noticed the clean air zone message on a bus stop at Cobalt South last month, that might be what it means. Yes, the 309/310 did used to use the old V reg Presidents, I never liked them!

If anyone wants a pic, it looks like 24002 is out on the X24 today, according to bus times - https://bustimes.org/vehicles/45539

24003 still broke though...

(10 Jan 2020, 12:27 pm)Dans_bus_photos wrote 34605 is back out in service in Sunderland freshly repainted
39673 has also repainted in the last couple of weeks

Anymore gas buses been painted yet?, they seem to be taking ages.

34605 looks to be out on the 23 today.

Meanwhile 19641, 19644 and 27735 are off the road today according to Bus Times, with 19643 on the E's. 39715 & 39718 are also still off the road.

19644 (I think, the one that is still branded for the X34?) replaced 39674 on the E's at approx 21:45 last night - an unusual vehicle swap at an unusual time.

Just a quick note that the Sedgefield School runs should be 5193 and 5197 rather than S prefix.
