MG stated that 9 of the new Streetdecks will be redeployed within Go Ahead. So only 37 DD arriving this year. First one going to Oxford in next few days.
Rest of DD due August with Yutongs in September
New StreetDecks - nine re-deployed within Go-Ahead Group prior to delivery

Thanks for the information, shame 9 is heading to Go Ahead, is this due to contract changes?
Seems quite far away July and August.

How does that work? The first ones built are already painted for X-Lines with the GNE interior, so either they're getting repainted and keeping the interior, or we're getting the first ones and the middle of the batch is going elsewhere.
But then why would ones for Oxford be getting delivered first?
Just started watching today's Facebook Live and looks like the one going to Oxford will be going down in GNE livery, so I guess it'll be one of the blue ones

But whatever the reason is, surely if Go Ahead are that desperate for DD, could of just transferred out a few older DDs after new ones arrived

Or was that the air conditioning in the B5 cabs? Sorry I was distraught at the fact of us not getting out full allocation of new Streetdecks

Not sure, Martjin mentioned Versa's a while back - but then it all went quiet - probables see the Quaylink Versa's and Citylink Versa's refurbished, hopefully they sort the brands out too - so all the numbers are the same for the brands - but replace the CityLink ones with Quaylink branding (only if its still getting Electric buses later/early next year).
It was the air conditioning for the B5's =)

RE: Go North East service levels during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic
My plan would be for the Versa's but only if the 58 got electric buses
5377 - 5389 - Q1/Q2 (2013 Versa's)
8329 -8338 on the Q3 (2011 Versa's
Leaves 34 Versa's to be split around the Depots:
8294/8295 Riverside spares
8296 - 8301 - Loop
8302 - 8306 M6/M7/M8
8307 - 8309 - 67/69
8310/ 8311 riverside spares
8312/8313 - Chester spares
8314/8315 - 71
8316 - 8318 - 34
8319 - 8323 - 28/28A
8324/ 8325 - Chester spares
8326 - 8328 - 25
5390 - Spare for Riverside
The likes of the Loop have them - because the drop in the Streetdeck order for GNE, 25 because of CAZ.

I hope the X1 isn't dropped from the plans, i think its one route which actually deserves an upgrade.
X5/X15 is a PVR of 5
X31 is 4 PVR
Maybe those services will miss out?
However i wonder if they would get the Red Arrow B9's in place with the B9's going for a refurbishment?

I would guess the X21 would be the most likely to miss out with them already having the 'spare' Streetdecks running on it, so it wasn't an upgrade, more of a sidegrade
Then, I'd be inclined to say X45/X46 as they could keep some of the Streetlites running.
They could even brand some of the Streetlites Xlines and permanently keep them running alongside the StreetDecks and not really run into any capacity issues

Just because he did mention refurbishments, and the B9's will become spare once the X1 gets the E400's.
Would work well
There's 14 Red Arrow B9's -
9 B9's for the X5/X15 and X31
2 dedicated spares
3 replace older deckers within the fleet - in X-lines spare livery - if more branded spares needed.

Looks like there'll be three different shades of green, seems a bit overkill to me like, especially since the E400s were painted the wrong shade originally and had to be repainted into the right one. Wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to have them all the same green then vehicles could be shared between them.
Then again, it's not as if the average person will be able to tell the difference if they mix them up now and again, except from the silhouette on the side and no doubt the vinyls inside

Will the X30/X31 and X45/X46/X47 not be like how the X6/X7 and X20 work, where the livery will combines the two shades one used for each group of routes and therefore they’ll all be like the green seen on the X30s? The third shade of green just used to mark on the map?

Could well be, although I'm sure it was confirmed at some point that there would be at least two different shades of green used
