Defo, anyone got a picture of what they look like?

Gonna be interesting to see how they do in Eldon Square/Peterlee and Dalton Park!

Coaches 72 - 78 in Oxford's fleet. New March 2015.

All have now been re-registered (OW15 Wxx) prior to transfer north.

Tables, no - it's a coach.

Everything else, yes (and far more comfortable seats!)
RE: X9/X10
Thanks for the sharing information Dan

Can we keep them with that livery because it suits the coaches so well.

Looking forward to seeing them in X-Lines!

Edit:

Whats the capacity?, as its 7 coaches coming up, what will take the spare role?

Wey, until recently buses didn't have tables either!

Wonder if one can have an adventure on the X21 at some point, although that seems about as likely as getting an open top down there!

Although it would be good to see them on other routes its really likely they'll just stay on the X9/X10.

I never knew how big they were until i seen it from the door side.... haha

Aye was about to say - nae chance GNE are launching Interdeck coaches onto one of their flagship routes with that livery.

Fantastic to see coaches on the X9/X10 now though - travel frequently on the Buchan Xpress batch operated by Stagecoach Bluebird and they've still got an enormous amount of power behind them. Their reliability is also pretty good, and the ride quality is second to none.

PVR reduction or something else as a spare?

Might do a quick photoshop, see what the X-Lines livery would look like on them (presumably they'll keep the same style!)

Go for it!!

It's going be interesting to see how they'll do the X-Lines brand on them.

Dont think they'd want a coach sitting around as I'm sure the coaches will cope much better than the current B5s, maybe keep a B5 as spare. Wonder if 4 of the current X9/X10 buses will end up on X5/X15?

Agree. I'd say they've been crying out for them for a long while.

The previous plans was for them to go on the X84/X85 but that could of changed due to the 9 Streetdecks going elsewhere.

Wonder what fleet numbers they'll get?, will they follow the current coach set numbers but as 7200-7206?

The removal of the X9/X10 services from Eldon Square Bus Station will be the only change to the route.

Tri-axle vehicles, albeit not quite as long, have been tested on the whole route and there aren't any other issues.

With some re-allocating of stands I imagine they'd be fine on another stand, even the drop off stand, it's only once every half hour.
Middlesbrough will similarly be an issue with the current stand but again could be moved.

Will it start from the stop used by the 21 on newgate street?

When will they transfer north?

Just asking because they need repainting/checked over and then drivers to be trained on them.

For training, will a selected number of drivers be trained for them or will most drivers at Riverside be trained on them?

Think they have a separate rota, I wonder if it'll go back to 1 full route and EU rules like it was before the split.
Just watched tonight's update on depot fb page.
