My biggest question is what's the legroom like on the coaches.
It's physically impossible for me to sit straight on a StreetDeck because of the lack of legroom, it's the main reason I always sit at the table. If I have to sit at a normal seat, I sit twisted with my back against the window

Wish I could go out and photo these, but sadly stuck in hospital until October after breaking my femur mid August on top of the exsisting dislocated knee injury in the same leg.

No, it's been withdrawn.

If the layout is similar to that on the Stagecoach operated examples it should be fine - I'm on one at the moment, sat behind the stairs, and I still have about 6 inches of space in front of my knees. On the next one I'll sit somewhere directly behind another seat and edit the post, but from memory it's absolutely fine.

If that's the case would make sense using a coach as a, spare on a coach route. Surely keeping some levantes as spare would make sense. Especially now that the 65/66/17 reu levantes are all spare (at the minute don't know what will be spare when Nat Ex return to normal times. Only afew levantes are required at peaks for extras of arriva's 1/2/308 which only need a minority and won't be permanent so when they're gone all the B11/Levante 2s will be spare.

Do the temporary coaches not have anti-Covid/vandal screens fitted?
Are the drivers wearing a face mask?

They have a plastic sheet (as per National Express specification), but many of the drivers are choosing to wear face coverings rather than use this.

Would that be a standard 'face covering' or the proper fitted masks since from a company perspective it's about protecting the drivers as well as reducing the spread, which was the main focus for the government only mandating a 'face covering' not a proper mask.

The company has fitted National Express specification “shower curtains”. If the driver feels obliged to do more, that is of their own choice.

It's a department of transport initiative about tailgaters, there were adverts on the TV last year about it "don't be a space invader" all NatEx coaches got them.

7125 BX16 CKG is now on the X9/X10s. Saw it today and according to Bustimes.org it has been on these services, yesterday and today.

Would make sense seeing as the 308x has now gone to CLS. Depford now only hsve the 1x & 2x for coaches I believe.

Deptford also have 2 coaches on 4274 Belmont scholars contract.  These run from Coxhoe/Bowburn - Belmont.  One starts in Coxhoe then does a loop of Bowburn before heading off to Belmont.  The 2nd starts in Bowburn but goes through the estate rather than looping around it before heading to Belmont.

Nothing to do with reliability of coaches.

They've gone over to operate scholars at Riverside.

Looks like there's one on today. Plain white three axle heading south earlier.

Not sure what the issue was, but the X9 and 10 appeared to be running in convoy at one point this morning.
Would have been just before 10, south of Peterlee.
Noticed the temp express liveried one first and seconds behind, there was one of the retro branded coaches.
I assume control took control of the situation at some point further down the route in order to manage the timetable more effectively.
