Bygone era
It's sad to see how many services we have lost over the years, from looking at the Bygone era. There were a few surprised for me to discovr too.

- Stagecoach operated a service to Retail World in Team Valley and Washington Galleries to/from the Metrocentre.
- The Nexus 792 service has the same timetable now as in 1997, but runs to/from Blackhall Mill, extended from Rowlands Gill
- Westerhope used to have services to/from Metrocentre, Blaydon, Winlaton, and High Spen and the Airport. Good links.
- Apparently GNE operated the Stagecoach 40 on weekends in 2002.

Because Westerhope is off the A1, and has Metrocentre services (6 and 7) new services to/from Metrocentre, Blaydon, Winlaton, High Spen and Blackhall Mill serving Westerhope should be introduced by Go North East, not just because it would be good for me, but also because the A1 could be utilised from Westerhope to provide services across the region to Gateshead, South Shields, Stanley, Consett, Hartlepool, Darlington etc.

Percy Main ran early morning journies on the 21 and 40 usually using Darts or Tridents before they took up duties on the 301 (Tridents) or 310/319 (Darts).
