But it didn't seem to track on it way back to Newcastle. Wondering if it was a tracking issue or it broke down and East Yorkshire had to send a replacement up

(27 Jun 2021, 8:33 pm)ne14ne1 wrote Seeing it arrive into Newcastle with ‘The Gate via St Mary’s Place’ or ‘Newcastle’ on the screen, you’d assume it (X10 in this case) had came from Whitby/Scarborough and would be going back there. That’s what the route branding says. So no, the destination screen wouldn’t help in that case.
It’s only when the service number is included in the branding that is isn’t as confusing when they’re allocated to other services as the branding can then act as an advert for that vehicles usual route.

I actually quite like the simplicity of it
(28 Jun 2021, 3:22 pm)Ambassador wrote Anyone who boards a bus solely on the colour of it, without asking the driver, looking at the front (or side, or back) probably deserves to end up in MiddlesbroughApparently in early 2020 when 7609 was at Blyth GNE passengers were trying to board it thinking ot was a 309 everytime it was on the 308, won't be surprised if the same happened when it returned in late 2020 with 7610.
(27 Jun 2021, 8:40 pm)Dan wrote 7128 is branded for a service which runs daily, and is the only one of its type to be branded for it. It shouldn’t appear on other routes. At the moment it runs daily but would it not be going back to being a weekend and bank holiday service in the autumn? Or will it not run at all during the autumn and winter months?
