I'm not sure what the PVR 39/39A and 61 are but I'm guessing Deptford are going to gain all the 15 and 16 plate Streetlites bar the Coast and Country ones.

So you've got 5391 - 5394, 5410 - 5419 and 5438 - 5442 (19 buses) to allocate somewhere, believe there's too many for the 39/39A/61 there so maybe they could be used on the 55 instead? There's also too many 17 plates for the Coaster unless your planning to upgrade the 19 to them aswell so possibly some of those could be used on the 57?

49 doesn't require euro 6 buses. Therefore can see these being allocated to newcastle services.

The 15/16 plates can't be used on them though as they haven't had Euro 6 Mods so unless they're done they can't be used and as someone said there's buses available in the 49/49A batch which has had a few service cuts over the years.

Speaking of them does anyone know what the numbers are like or could the rest of Q1/Q2/Q3 Versa's be dumped on there which would release a few more Euro 6 buses to go into Newcastle. There should be enough of them left with 8310 - 8318 unallocated atm I believe (I could be wrong there though), they've downgraded the 2/2A in the same way.

Wonder if the 9 will share a colour and the X6 joins the "Black version".

As I don't see the point of having a Sunderland local brand and missing out 2 services, leaving them in "Go North East" colours.

Have to say up to now. Cherries is taking the best looking at the moment. Don't know what it is. But the X Lines and Cherries suits the Citaro's.

Would love to see what a Citaro would look like with the new Coaster Colours on

I would have perhaps suggested Blueberries and Blackberries if they continue along the fruit theme, but I doubt they'd go with that since they've got 'Berries' already

Ah right, I wasn't sure if anymore had been converted to euro 6, as we've had no updates for a while.

Think it's just that batch and the LWB versas that have been upgraded. Didnt MG say the 25 were getting refurbed deckers. Dont know where from but possibly reason why no more versas been done

Ye, no idea which deckers those will be though, unless they decide to convert some of the longer Omnidekka's to Euro 6 alongside a small refurb?

26/56 deckers possibly? I'm sure it's not a co-incidence that there's not enough painted for both the 26 and 27 and the branding just pretends that the 26 doesn't exist at all. Also there was the frequency decrease on the 56 so should be a few spare there aswell.

The 26 definitely doesn't warrant deckers, but not sure what else it could interwork with (if anything) but they're wasted on there atm.

All of the FAB 56 buses were repainted and rebranded to the number they needed, with 6086/6087 the only 2 spares Deptford for the 56, so doubt they'll move.

Probably as many as the vaccine shuttles   surely they could find a way to merge the 5 and 26

Martijn said in one of his live updates, that changes were planned for September.... but didn't say what....... they should of been appearing on VOSA by now, as I'm sure its 56 days for when changes have to be registered or is that rule still relaxed due to Covid?

The Crusader PVR if the 26 is made standalone will be 11x. That leaves 6001, 49 and 50 as spares.

The 56 only needs 1x spare (got 6087). That leaves the following B9TLs surplus as long as nothing changes:

6084, 6085, 6086, 6099

6001, 6049, 6050, 6099 & 6377 could form Riverside / Hexham's decker spares for the 27 / 58 / 93 & 94 / Tyne Valley Ten / X9 & X10.

6084-86 could replace the 3x ex TTX branded buses on the Tyne Valley Ten. That would then allow 6043-6048 to go on the 25 with a PVR of 6x.

So to summarise a speculative B9TL allocation

Total Volvo B9TL at GNE from "new" (excl Lothian): 67x
Total Volvo B9TL at GNE ex London: 13x

**Total active PVR = 72x**
Riverside - Crusader = 11x
Riverside / Hexham - Tyne Valley Ten = 16x
Deptford - CityRider = 11x
Percy Main - Cobalt & Coast = 16x
Riverside - East Gateshead Rider = 6x
Riverside - East Gateshead Loop = 6x
Chester Le Street - GNE 25 = 6x

**Spares = 8x**
- Riverside / Hexham (x5) - 6001, 6049, 6050, 6099, 6160
- Deptford (x1) - 6087
- Percy Main (x2) - 6100, 6101

25 doesn't need anything "fancy" as a spare. Above spares don't take into account 6336/6337 at Hexham or 6377 also additionally being available.
