Been cancelled now. I don't get why they don't just cancel it all day and make it easier for people. It's not as if it's that busy on a Sunday anyway. 

Easier know it's going to be cancelled all day rather than it might be on but we don't know.

From approximately 18.00, we will start running regular trains between South Gosforth and Park Lane in both directions, but not to timetable.

The service will remain suspended between Airport and South Gosforth, and between Park Lane and South Hylton for the rest of the evening

Repair update: We aim to restore services between between Airport and South Gosforth by tomorrow morning. Works between Park Lane and South Hylton by Network Rail is estimated for completion on Tuesday morning. #StormArwen
