That gives me the impression that their vehicles are barely roadworthy to the point where another operator wouldn't touch them!
The solos are leased from Dawsons so they will go back. The remainder of the fleet is older and commercially probably not worth much hence offering to the preservation sector for a few quid more than the scrapman.

Seen a post on Facebook that it’s not the end of Scarlet Band as it will become part of the Eden Group under the name Scarlet Band Tours.

A rundown of where the fleet has gone/going below.  Info via a post from Mark Dolan in the Friends of the PSV Circle Facebook group (with me amending some of the info here):

Optare Solo SR YJ64 DYG/H/F/DXU/V have gone to an operator in Herefordshire.

Enviro MX10 KNW has gone to a local school for conversion into a classroom.

MX10 KNV has gone to David Goodfellow Travel in Doncaster

Long Optare Solo YJ57 XXE has gone to an operator in Ireland (possibly Donegal).  This may be followed by Optare Solos WK59 CWW/Y,. although this is not confirmed.

Solos WK59 CWU/X have gone to an operator in the Sheffield area (being the first two buses to depart Scarlet Band).

Optare Versa YJ57 XWV is now with South Pennine Community Transport.

Optare Solo YJ62 FAM has gone to McCalls for further service.

Optare Solos YJ61 JHV and YJ63 VTE were returned to Dawson Group after use by Gateshead Central.

Solo YJ55 YGL has passed to a former driver for a conversion.

Solo YJ05 JWN passed into preservation.

Vehicles that were scrapped are - (Enviro E200) MX10 KNU; MX10 DXL; MX10 DXK; (Optare Solo) R55 LOT; WK59 CWZ; YJ05 JWO; MX56 NME; YN04 LWM; YJ07 EHZ; YJ09 EZG.
