It’s going to take a long time to transfer all the buses I’d imagine most of the year.

22428 received a new engine hence why it was off the road since July last year. Unsure or what engine it got but I don’t believe it’s Euro 6 so should still end up leaving Newcastle.
Whatever engine it is it’s left it down on power to the point where it is not allowed on the fastline services, where the ALX300’s spend most of their time, due to only doing 30mph on the central motorway yet it’s on them today it should be allocated to 71/72 the the foreseeable future

hopefully Newcastle and slatyford in particular is due some new single deck vehicles at some point, the ex Stockton E300s seem to do well on the 685, I don't know if any of the MMCs have been on it yet. i cant see the 09 E300s lasting on the 685 if they ever got allocated to it
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
I’ve heard from a fellow driver at Slatyford that 22408,409,411,412&413 are all due to go sometime in March. I’d imagine the others 22428,443,444,570,574,580,581 will join them as well.

As noted in the Repaints thread, 22887 entered service at Stockton yesterday on the short 12 running board.

As posted on ‘Stagecoach UK Enthusiasts’ Facebook Group by Danny Howard, 27805/9 are both now at Stockton undergoing pre-use checks. I would suggest the majority of the Highlands examples might be Stockton bound in this case - although their interior spec means they only have a wheelchair bay rather than both a Wheelchair Bay and a Pushchair bay.

And that's not the only 2015 E300 making its first appearance in Newcastle today - Carlisle now have ex-Glasgow E300 27226 from Morecambe depot (in exchange for 24124 - the last PX59 plate MAN in the Cumbria and North Lancs fleet) which is now on the ex-Arriva turn on the 685. For anyone unaware, 27211-28 were the first batch of the last E300s delivered to Stagecoach in 2015 and were unique in being the only Euro6 examples built.

Have not seen 39663 or 39668 for a few days and bus times says that both last seen service a week ago so it looks like both have been withdrawn which is a shame because both where both where better than some of 09 and 61 plate enviros where the majority now seem to be struggling.

According to one of the controllers at Slatyford we will be getting another 27*** tonight anyone know which one it is?
Also it’s believed Stagecoach don’t have any agreement with Newcastle City Council regarding the non compliant buses in the clean air zone and will most likely get a big fine once all buses have been replaced. Surprised they haven’t had them all changed sooner.
