Given they sold it to Arriva I think that’s unlikely

West Road to former Findus factory is looking like it will be a popular passenger flow

The 62 and 63 are now a bit of a, why would you use these services, in Killingworth now ignoring freqency if living near the 37 route.yes, i agree with this, the problem is that, the core section of the route, i would say from central motorway, through town, byker, chillingham road is where the bulk of the delays occur
Longer to Newcastle than the X63
Longer to FLE / Quorum than the 37
Quicker to ???- Byker? Not sure why anyone wants to go there though.
I get there's still flows to Killingworth from Longbenton and Forest Hall but not sure they need a bus every 15 minutes.
Potential maybe to up the 62 / 63 across Newcastle to every 10 minutes each and terminate 1 out of 2 at FLE with them being every 20 minutes or even less beyond there maybe? There's clearly issues in the core of the route.

So people in northumberland when they pay there poll tax/council tax or whatever its called are not paying into it and yet are gaining from a survice paid for by ounters in another county? I know how people from sunderland must have felt when they had no metro service!
(19 Aug 2023, 11:08 am)Storx wrote Depends who it benefits though, I can't imagine there's a massive flow of people from Cramlington wanting to go Weetslade and Dudley at night so arguably it's benefitting them more than Northumberland.
Seaton Valley Parish / Northumberland Council subsidise the 57A through Annitsford and Northumberland Council subsidise the 19 (Backworth), 74 (Stamfordham), 309 (Early Runs), 684 (West End) and 808 (Woolsingham) for similar reasons. Don't believe Nexus fund any of them. The 57A being Nexus from Earsdon to North Shields only.

Durham fund the 28/28B/29 whilst Nexus secure part of the 25 that runs in County Durham.

Meaning the residents along the 12 route will have a gap of two weeks between Arriva finishing on the 12 and Stagecoach’s 6/6A starting.
