(15 Oct 2023, 9:35 am)F114TML Really? That's only 3 return trips.

We can do up to 6 trips on the 20 (ie Fawcett St - Pennywell and back 6 times). Don't know if the shift still exists but there used to be one that did 6 return trips on the 20 and then a 3 from Fawcett Street to the Wheatsheaf - it was absolutely soul destroying.

Also that's just one shift, nothing to do with the rota there. Could well be that drivers get the 21 maybe a couple times in a week at most.

That duty still exists, unfortunately

With the amount of Dutys GNE has, how do they work them all out?

Most GAG companies use software from Omnibus to work out the duties and then software from Trapeze to allocate and send the hours to payroll.

What font has GNE been using recently for their liveries? Plus what font for the old Coaster livery?

When the green arrows come back + the new Streetlites im thinking

4949A/96 - Streetlites (14)
60 - E200MMC (deep clean and try to fix the USB ports as they all have gum in them - 8 (go back to every 12+ 1 spare) 3 to be painted in 2019 livery
2/2A - ex-drifters (USB + new moquteee added) + (3 13 Plates)
3 streetlite to Deptford
3 to Washington for spares on the 4/28/29/25

Should solve most things, but the entire fleet needs a massive TLC, now would be the perfect time

I doubt that GNE will be able to afford to do anything!

Given the lengthy strike, and no doubt reduced passenger numbers, I wonder if GNE will actually need the Green Arrows back or indeed the ex First StreetLite?

They can use the time the vehicles aren't on the road, to tidy them up or do some cost-effective titivating.

I'm assuming there will be volunteers willing to do that in addition to declining any increased pay award going forward.
For the sake of the company and out of the goodness of their hearts.

At the very least, it could protect or enhance the book value of the buses should they be sold off.

Haha tidy up the fleet. All they did during this time was apply new logos. Half the fleet was still missing paint or branding. Half the nsa are still broken

Get some brownie points for a nice promotion though as clearly half the management aren't there based on merit / skill based on half the stuff done in the past 5 year.

NSA and displays have been getting fixed during the strikes. Riverside's were fixed during the first strike and Sunderland's and Washington's during the second strike. There are still a few outstanding issues at those depots but repairs are booked in with Hanover as they require new parts. Percy Main's, Saltmeadows, and some of the outstanding issues will be sorted out this week.

According to Bustimes, the only hybrids left in service is 6061 and 6065.

Can anyone confirm, if that's right?
