How is 39729 rare on 4 it's always on that route or 23 route. 22488 shouldn't be on. Must have got lost on way to Stockton

Because the 39xxx MAN E200s should be on services 18/19.
It's not rare because Sunderland have these allocations every day, but odd as it should not be allocated to 4s.

18/19 really they normally get darts don't they like the 8 well what's left of them. Think these gas buses should be on all main routes not just 16/20

18/19 being a mixture last few days.

I would imagine the gas buses would be on different routes on a Sunday.. nothing confirmed yet, don't think, we will find that out tomorrow.

23 more to arriving in May for the 3 and 13 routes. =)

Again, down to Sunderland's poor allocations.

Two should be allocated to 8s and three should remain as reserve to cover for E200s.

There are at least two 36xxx E200s on 18/19 today and at least two 39xxx E200s.

Who's to say that one is moving to Stockton? As I understand it, the majority of the transfers south are to be the ex-Hull batch (22727-36)

New to Hull, hence the T-OEF registrations (bar 22736, but that's another story as it were Wink ) - Hull was (until last March) on the Cleveland Transit licence, hence their ALX300s had the same registrations as those new to Stockton (22656-65).

There's no photos from their days at Hull online. As for T-OEF, that registration is a Stockton area registration, at the time 22656-65/727-36 were being built, Stagecoach Hull was actually part of what is now Stagecoach North East, managed by Stockton depot (Cleveland Transit had purchased KHCT in the early 1990s and it didn't move to be managed by East Midlands until 2001).

As for 22736, at the start of its construction, it was down to be registered T736OEF and go to Hull, then part-way through it was revised to go to Stockton as our 666 and would have been registered T466MHN, when the plan reverted back however it was instead allocated the registration it carries today (T736FVN) as its original plate had already been surrendered.

TOTAL FLEET ALLOCATION = 89

I know this (the fleet cards with these details are available on the public domain after a week or two of them being released), but that appears to be littered with mistakes - which makes me sound like a bit of an arse because it's an official document.

If Sunderland were to allocate Pointer 2 Darts on services 5/5A which I believe is partially secured as a Euro 5 contract between The Docks and the City Centre, there would be trouble with Nexus. The reality of the situation is that E200s are always allocated - I can't recall a Pointer 2 ever being allocated. I was told about an ALX300 being on the City Centre to Doxford Park stretch for half a run only just a few weeks ago, but was inevitably replaced.

Service 8 is allocated Pointer 2s and not Enviro 200s - at least most of the time. Lately the appearance of Enviro 200s has become more common, but perhaps this is linked to the Darts being found on anything and everything as of late.

Services 18/19 and 23 appear to be the wrong way round - the non-branded ADL examples are usually found on services 4 and 5/5A, the branded examples on service 23 and services 18/19 have a mixture of both MAN and ADL because all of the MAN examples are just thrown about everywhere. From personal observation, the MAN examples are certainly on services 18/19 a hell of a lot more than service 23 - so there's a problem regardless. I'm sure Michael can account for the amount of MAN vs ADL E200s he has seen on service 23 over the past few days?

Allocations have been poor since the arrival of the new ADL E200s which I cannot comprehend. There are a limited number of services which appear to have a set allocation (the ALX300 ones), but the others are seemingly allocated anything - as if there's no difference between a MAN and ADL E200 and a Pointer 2 Dart.

Go North East are called all sorts for their wrong allocations and while I agree customers aren't likely to notice as much with Stagecoach's wrong allocations as they're all in fleet livery (with a few exceptions), it just goes to show that allocations are clearly difficult to manage.

I believe that 22727-36 came in exchange for 14 Dart/ALX 200s, 33103-5/7-10/2-7 (R-KRG) and 33001 (R701DNJ, new to Stagecoach South and itself swapped with R119KRG after a fatal accident in the old Central Bus Station).

Olympian 16836 was out working the 36 this evening, heading to Park End in Stockton at 1725 (as such is now safely back in the depot).
