Will these replace MAN buses in fleet?

No, they are due to be cascaded. Not sure where though.

RE: Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
Some/all of the MANs are due to be withdrawn. I think they're that clapped out now that nowhere else will want them!

I'm going to have a bit of a mission trying to photograph all of these new E200s!
(I work in Carlisle and occasionally catch the bus - normally the 76 so hopefully it won't be too bad).

Wonder where the darts are going to go then. They're 9 years old now!

RE: Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
The arrival of Carlisle's new E200s has begun, with 37086 (YX14RXL) being shown in this shot.

The others to have arrived so far are:
- YX14RXM
- YX14RXN
- YX14RXO
- YX14RXP
- YX14RXR
- YX14RXS
- YX14RXT

This would lead to the assumption that they will be numbered 38087-93, given that they've arrived in alphabetical order.

In other news, 18325 has received a new wrap advertisement - this one is for Hayes Garden Centre.

When will they be out in service?

I was under the impression that these vehicles weren't scheduled to arrive for another month, but I'd imagine they'd get them out as soon as they're ready? I really don't know though.

I've not. My auntie used to take me to garden centres when I was young, but I never really had much of an interest in them.

Few years ago I'd cut the grass for a fiver, but my interest stopped there when it came to gardening!

A photo of 37091 (YX14RXR) is shown here, providing further evidence of the fleet numbers being allocated in alphabetical order.

You are quite correct Dan - they are indeed in registration order.

Also notice 18325 has also received a front-end repaint into Lakes Green livery.
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
The first of the enviro 200s should be out in service next week after the press launch on Monday. The new branding on them is quite smart. I think the rest will trickle out into service as soon as they arrive and are prep'd for service.

37089, branded for the 76, working a service to St Anne's Hill just now. I was on it and talking to the driver I know, it's a really nice and comfortable ride. Will have to get a dayrider and have a good old bash soon!

Lets hope they make a good job on the ''Carlisle Youth Zone'' and ''Carlisle United Ones''. But I do agree, they look fantastic.

Don't think they'll be doing a Carlisle United livery as Virgin Trains is CUFCs new sponsor! Wink (Although, strictly speaking, VT is 49% Stagecoach...)

They are.
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
(30 Apr 2014, 5:25 am)Richard Smiles wrote Can I just clarify Tom, that as far as I am aware, based on the list that I have, there is NOT going to be a new Carlisle United vehicle.

The Carlisle Youth Zone livery, is to be applied to & carried by 37106. I am guessing this vehicle may well arrive at some point next week ?, given I have details up to 37103 which may well arrive with a number of other vehicles (37097 - 37102) this week.

There is also a strong possibility that, the base livery for this, will be applied at the Plaxton's Factory (Paint Shop), presumably then, with the appropriate Vinyls being applied on site at Carlisle Depot.

I'm just going off what Lee Wardle told me, I asked him if it was going to be retained and he said it was.
