ALX400's are always on these routes as the 56 interworks with the 57A that starts and ends at Durham Johnston School, Service 6 interworks with a school service.

I have seen them on the Durham Johnston runs, but didn't realise there were as many deckers allocated.

There should only be the one board allocated a decker from what I've seen, which is the one that includes the run on to Durham Johnston school, as Jimmi has added. Everything else is allocated a Solo. I have seen the odd Dart or Pulsar allocated mind Smile

Cream-liveried Pulsar 1411 was on the 685/85s today, would have been on the 1607 ex-Carlisle. Also seen it earlier on

There was a diversion away from Dilston on the 85 this evening too, with my 4653 'Tin Rocket' being diverted on the 1645 ex-Newcastle and 4662 on another working passing each other at Hexham Rail Station.

I wonder what they are playing at?

Officially, there's 2 56/57 boards down to be decker operated.

Saw three deckers - so at least one more than normal.

4069 on 15s - 1250 from Stockton to Ingelby Barwick
1772 is on the crew bus - according to the driver on the 6 this morning, 1772 was the original allocated vehicle to the service but I assume it had a defect to sort

Didn't make Ingleby - broke down in Thornaby. Replacement is a more healthy sounding 4007.
