I haven't been on a 50 in a couple of months now (really need to catch up!) - but I recall 5260 had some old-ish looking stickers at the back. Can't remember if they were Cobalt Clipper-related though.

Hes a right little creep, I think he should be removed from the Forum for Harassment and Impersonating other Enthusiasts, and finally for the constant Trolling of the Forum over the last few days.

I know at least one Whey Aye Five-O still has Cobalt adverts on but I think some have had them removed, wish they would remove them as they look a mess.

Former "Silver Arrows" branded Deptford-based Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro 5323 (NK58 DVZ) has now arrived at Saltmeadows for a 'freshen up' repaint. The 'paint prep' will probably be done tomorrow, and it should be repainted on Monday.

This means that there are just two vehicles from the "Silver Arrows" branded allocation which are yet to be repainted:
- 5325 (NK58 DWC)
- 5327 (NK58 DWE)
One of these should be completed next week, the other the following week.

I agree the Brand could do with a Re-fresh as its been the same since 2008 when it was Launched, taking after the Doxford Clipper Wink, I would also like to see a Silver Arrows Saver or alternatively a Silver/Red Arrows Saver Introduced, for usage on the X1/2A and 2C.

4845 is a float vehicle - it moves around the fleet depending on where it is needed.

Riverside have a vehicle shortage at the moment, hence the loan of three vehicles and now this one too... It transferred on Thursday ready for service on Friday.

Passed Riverside on the 10A at midday, and saw a blue, 'playhouse' looking Lolyne with some yellow text where the blind would be, and the name 'CredieMobile' on the side. Couldn't get a clean look at it's reg - but it certainly didn't look like one of GNEs. Any explanation? Tongue

Even the windows didn't look like the other examples within GNE's fleet!

(22 Nov 2014, 4:29 pm)Robert wrote It is stored there i believe.

The CrècheMobile Project is based in Gateshead, and the company's double decker has been stored at Go North East's depots for a number of years now (primarily Sunderland Road - now Riverside).
Its maintenance and repairs are carried out by Go North East, and I think Go North East has also repainted this bus once or twice in the past, too.

Riverside's recently repainted Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro vehicles are starting to re-gain their "Blaydon Racers" branding, with minor alterations. The vehicles which have received branding so far include 5275 (NK07 KPG) and (NK07 KPL).

- Above the windows, Go North East has added 'Up to every 10 minutes' on each side of the vehicle. It works slightly less well on the nearside, due to a grille being placed there.
- On the rear of the vehicle, the 'taglines' have been amended. These are in a smaller font, and are much tidier.
- On the front of the vehicle, new 'taglines' have been added.

I think that the Silver Arrows vehicles will follow in the same direction, and see minor changes rather than anything major... The livery works, and it integrates services X1 and 2A/2C.

I was rather bored, so I came up a Simplistic Rebrand for the Silver Arrows, whilst also adding a terrible Promotional Rear Advert for a Potential "Arrows Saver", for use on Services X1/2A and 2C.
