City Airport expansion given the go-ahead.
I have to say, I love flying to/from LCY - especially on BA Cityflyer.

I was on the Glasgow tour today, very frequent but it had multi-lingual commentary, I don't think many foreigners come to Glasgow on holiday!
The tours I have done are:
NewcastleGateshead
Glasgow
Edinburgh
York
London
Malta
Singapore
Sydney
Norwich
Bristol
Belfast
These are just the ones I know off the top of my head, I might've done more!

All,
It's been noted that the forum is increasingly being used as a call logging tool, with members using it to 'report' faults with buses, such as panel damage, missing branding, destinations, plug sockets and WiFi issues, to name a few.
A lot of these posts go unanswered and even unnoticed in some cases, meaning that important issues aren't getting to where they need to be. As posts are going unanswered, we feel that they are not contributing to the flow or discussion on the forum.
This is not to prevent discussion around any of the aforementioned issues, but we ask that you consider the audience of your post, and whether you feel it will generate a discussion off the back of it. For example:
Arriva North East
Arriva's North East division can be contacted using the methods listed on their contact page.
Go North East
Go North East's customer services team can be contacted using the methods listed on their contact page.
Stagecoach North East
Stagecoach's North East operations can be contacted using the methods listed on their contact page.
Independent Operators
The North East Buses fleet lists provide contact details for most independent operators. Once you select an operators, the contact details will be shown at the top of the page.
If you notice any issues with these contact details, please let one of the site team know, so that we can amend as appropriate.
Thanks for the cooperation.

I have been having a bit of a think, and thought it would a great idea to have a thread where all members of the NEB Forum can share photos and articles on a weekly basis at any point during that week from there Archives, this could even be tied together with "The Bygone Era" and "Treasures from our Archives" feature on the NEB News, with the best articles been shown on the news update for that week, in turn giving a more community feel to the site, as there are quite a lot of us who now take photos from across the region, rather than having images/articles from one individuals account each week.
So I shall start with an example from this week (Monday 27th June to Sunday 3rd July 2016).
This week in History saw on the 27th June 2014 the odd allocation of Go North East DAF SB120 Wright Cadet (8252) NA52 BVJ on Washington based Connections 4 Service 4 from Heworth to Houghton-le-Spring, seen here at Concord Bus Station.

The following day on the 28th June 2014 we are in Chester-le-Street we see former Volvo B5TL Wright Gemini 3 Demonstrator (9131) BF63 HDC on the X21 to Newcastle, this vehicle whilst with Go North East seen use on Service X21 (Bishop Auckland to Newcastle) and Services 31/32 and 47 (Newcastle to Winlaton & Blackhall Mill), 9131 started its life with Lothian Buses and has operation with various Bus Companies throughout the UK, and is currently part of the East Yorkshire Motor Services Fleet.

Finally we had further back in time to July 1st 2013, the scene is Houghton-le-Spring and the subject is Go North East Scania L94UB Wright Solar (4958) NL52 WVO having at the time recently been repainted into a maroon base ahead of transfer onto Waggonway Services 28/28A, with the imminent arrival of new Mercedes Citaro's for the Metrolink Service M1 (Houghton-le-Spring to Heworth), which then branded Connections 4.

Now that I given a few examples from my Archives, what are your opinions going forward with this idea?
