A new Peterlee Purples X6 Promotional picture has been shown for the upcoming changes, however one thing that has been spotted is a new Go North East logo[Image: 10A4A6D0-C88B-41E7-9847-FC7785B73340.jpeg]

Both haven’t been used since the start of the month as it seems their allocated service is now allocated Voltras from the 53/54

Is there plans to see these coming back as they haven’t seen use on the X75

There's some cracking stuff on here. Local and otherwise.

Images are being published later in the year by the looks of things.

With there soon being 14x StreetLites available, could Arriva not move these to Ashington to wipe out the Solos / Pulsars for the 1, 2, 57, 57A?

1 - PVR 4x
2 - PVR 4x
57/57A - PVR 4x
- 2x spare and Euro 6 compliant should they be needed as a last resort on the Morpeth / Ashington 'X' routes.

Demand responsive transport has been working in quite a few areas, tees flex in the north east always seems to be about so with the plans to create a north east combined authority do you think we could ever get a regionwide DRT? Likely it would only work if most companies accept to receive funding to run a combined DRT network for local areas but it could be better than the current funding of under used buses in the area while still giving smaller towns and villages transport options. The problem with a lot of areas here especially the west of county durham and northumberland is that the population density is very low these small communities could easily be connected to bigger towns with DRT allowing them to access the wider bus network.

I heard a couple of driver chatting at change over at the weekend and i am sure on driver said the actual " driving" part of their shift was under 50% of the total hours.  Is this correct as it seems a lot of dead, non money making hours to me?

How long does it take to get onto to the top rate of 14.14 and do pcv holders automatically go straight onto it.
