How easy would it be for GNE to install Tap On/Off machines on a bus that doesnt already have them.

An improvement on 'track the next bus'. But really? What about the punters who need to be in Sacriston or one of the many places the X15 doesn't go?
Needless to say, the timing of the tweet doesn't really help those punters standing and waiting for it already.

Stage 6 of the Tour of Britain hits Gateshead next Friday 10th and there's some interesting diversions and photo opportunities
Durham Road will be closed northbound between the Angel and Harlow Green between 4am - 9pm. Southbound closures will be the same between 12pm and 6pm.
Newcastle Bank in Birtley and Lamesley will have rolling closures for 45 minutes as cyclists sprint to the end point at the Angel of the North.
Bus Diversions
X21 - will omit Low Fell and operate via A1 to Lobley Hill to Bensham Bank then Gateshead.
21 and 28 will divert by Harlow Green, Easedale Gdns , Wrekenton Row, Rockliffe, Mill House Roundabout, Portobello then B1288 past Ravensworth Terrace and its deadly speed bumps (which have wrecked many a car) to Birtley Red Lion, meaning stops between Harlow Green and Birtley Town Centre will not be observed (huge chunk of people)
28A will follow the same diversion but will use Hertford to access Saltwell Road (which suggests no service to Kibblesworth
I imagine the X12 will just get lost somewhere and the 23 won't operate.
Really not sure why the 21 doesn't just come down Long Bank after Wrekenton then it only misses a few stops as opposed to half of Birtley!

Hello there,
Dart K715 PCN has been around a bit since leaving Stagecoach - Dreadnought Coaches, preservation, use with a flying club(?) and more recently parked at the south side of the Tyne Bridge with Wylam Brewery, at the container pub space. I am trying to locate the current owner to see if the vehicle is 'safe' - it was photographed last summer under the Tyne Bridge, but Wylam Brewery tell me they have since sold it towards the end of last year (new V5 showing as issued November 2020).
If anyone could help me locate it, or know who its current owner is, then it would be really appreciated!
Many thanks in advance,

Darlington based Scania 4644 has had a thermal incident today. Pictures on the Arriva NE&Yorks FB page don't look promising in terms of a return to service for it - though I believe there are already a few withdrawn now anyway so probably not a huge loss.

Don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but the Arriva 22 Sunderland-Peterlee-Durham bus is missing/doesn’t show on Google. First time I’ve really noticed one of the big operators routes not showing, perhaps a common issue I’ve just not realised?
