Just spotted a GCT 85 to Brady Square, tailed by an indiGo Solo also operating the 85.

Think all the efforts went into drawing up the new timetables, rotas etc so it was left to depots to sort that out. Hence why there may be a few dupes

RE: GNE 85 evening operation
So is it a cock-up, or are Nexus forking out for two operators to run it?
I'd asked earlier if it was commercial, but having said that, I don't think Nexus would be allowed to run a fully secured service alongside an identical commercial route.

I mean that is madness; how long ago were lose changes introduced? Wasn’t it start of the month? Do we know which one is ‘correct’? ie. Should the timed runs we’re talking about be GNE or Nexus/GCT? Possibilities of an issue at GNE, GCT or Nexus.

Or does GNE keep changing their mind about how profitable the journeys are?
This is the third time the 139/140/39 has been given up by go north east on the evenings.

It was introduced on the 17th so two weeks ago. Given that all planning has gone into ramping up services tomorrow which is a huge job, I think a few dupes can be forgiven. Not to mention Nexus will only be paying for timetabled runs so if GNE are running later than they should, they're doing it for either nothing, or just the odd fare they take. From tomorrow, there should be no dupes I'd imagine.
1854 and 1924 are the last scheduled departures by GNE from Brady Square. Which means the 1953 departure from Concord is the first GCT run.

Chances are GNE may be mistakenly running it due to the current circumstances. Only GCT will be getting paid for it, GNE will get nothing for it
