But if we're going off the low bridge in Dunston, then they could have ordered taller E400s as 6337 is taller and still fits under.

Has 5238 been sold as it was at the front of the depot for a couple of months but was in the workshop yesterday.

I need to pop down to Bishop at some point this week, and if 'most of the B5s' are supposed to be running from this week, it'd be nice to kill 2 birds so to speak

Thanks, had a feeling it might have been Covid related and the need to get them into service.
(04 Sep 2020, 5:42 pm)streetdeckfan wrote Had my first proper ride on the X21 B5s today and all I can say is I want the StreetDecks back!Well, we could have guessed they were not going to be up to your standard.....
The ride quality is absolutely horrendous between Durham and Bishop, even on the resurfaced roads it crashes around all over the place.
6314 also has an awful rattle over even the slightest of bumps, it sounds like it's coming from the panel at the top of the stairs
The Aircon also doesn't seem to be as good as the StreetDecks, I can hear it but nowt's comes out the vents!
I take back all my complaints about the StreetDecks on the motorway, I'd happily suffer for 15 minutes of motorway over 90 minutes of rattle.
I guess there wasn't enough time for the buggy bays to be installed
I popped into Consett to have a look at the E400, are they a different shade of green again, the colour looks a lot 'deeper' compared to the X30 ones.

I liked the ex demo B5 that I used the other week, it was nowhere near as bad

I assume the the socket situation is the same as the StreetDecks where the driver has to manually turn them on?
