(Yesterday, 10:28 pm)col87 wrote Hartlepool Depot desperately need newer buses as the fleet is absolutely knackered and they are still having 34605 and 34611 in daily use including last Sunday, not that I mind as they are still decent but with how old they are If a wheelchair gets on then it is a right hassle especially which is now quite often not helped by the current division running late.
I am fairly sure the 64/65 plate Transbus E300 are roughly the same size as the manviros so might fit over the pits that would help update the fleet a bit and the plan was for Stocktons buses to replace the current fleet once Stockton get the electrics. I think the fact the remaining Manviro at Stockton left in Service has not been repainted into new livery is hopefully a sign that it’s days are numbered and won’t be coming to Hartlepool or not for very long if it does end up here. Either way it desperately needs new buses and it’s the only depot not to have had anything in years.

(6 hours ago)benji123 wrote It's time for the monthly reminder full sized single deckers can't fit in the pits at Hartlepool, as already suggested it's more than likely the 3 E200s from Stockton will replace these when the electrics come.
(4 hours ago)col87 wrote Stagecoach management themselves said Stocktons fleet would move to Hartlepool once they got the electrics. The 64/65 plate E300s am sure are around the same size as the manviros. 22040 was also sent to Hartlepool just last year for a month and only got withdrawn because it was considered to knackered so clearly they can’t be that much of an issue.

(2 hours ago)tyresmoke wrote Hartlepool don’t run 60 vehicles so don’t get your hopes up about bigger vehicles arriving, other than some Enviro 400s! I’d imagine they’ll end up with some 200s from Stockton and Sunderland.
Stockton’s first Yutong’s arrived today 73091-094 and 6 of the Sunderland ones have moved to Hartlepool for storage instead.
(5 hours ago)SV08GVA wrote My current understanding is that when the yutongs are up and running at Sunderland, all the HJS Euro 6 27’s (27728-27734 or whatever, I can’t even remember how many we have) are heading to slaty, and their 271’s will replace them since they are only euro 5 standard. Also understand that Sunderland’s 36’s are heading elsewhere, but not sure what’s replacing them. And lastly 28022-28030 are to be withdrawn and prepped for reading to come and collect them ASAP

I take it, all 20 of Sunderlands have now arrived?
Gutted to see more of the gas buses going, shame we couldn't have the 40 gas buses and 20 Electrics, what will they replace at Reading buses?
Hopefully by end of next week, we have more than 4 Yutongs in service....
