I am fairly sure the 64/65 plate Transbus E300 are roughly the same size as the manviros so might fit over the pits that would help update the fleet a bit and the plan was for Stocktons buses to replace the current fleet once Stockton get the electrics. I think the fact the remaining Manviro at Stockton left in Service has not been repainted into new livery is hopefully a sign that it’s days are numbered and won’t be coming to Hartlepool or not for very long if it does end up here. Either way it desperately needs new buses and it’s the only depot not to have had anything in years.

(15 Jan 2025, 5:44 pm)benji123 wrote It's time for the monthly reminder full sized single deckers can't fit in the pits at Hartlepool, as already suggested it's more than likely the 3 E200s from Stockton will replace these when the electrics come.
(15 Jan 2025, 7:26 pm)col87 wrote Stagecoach management themselves said Stocktons fleet would move to Hartlepool once they got the electrics. The 64/65 plate E300s am sure are around the same size as the manviros. 22040 was also sent to Hartlepool just last year for a month and only got withdrawn because it was considered to knackered so clearly they can’t be that much of an issue.

Stockton’s first Yutong’s arrived today 73091-094 and 6 of the Sunderland ones have moved to Hartlepool for storage instead.
(15 Jan 2025, 6:36 pm)SV08GVA wrote My current understanding is that when the yutongs are up and running at Sunderland, all the HJS Euro 6 27’s (27728-27734 or whatever, I can’t even remember how many we have) are heading to slaty, and their 271’s will replace them since they are only euro 5 standard. Also understand that Sunderland’s 36’s are heading elsewhere, but not sure what’s replacing them. And lastly 28022-28030 are to be withdrawn and prepped for reading to come and collect them ASAP
(15 Jan 2025, 9:50 pm)Michael wrote That was quicker than I thought it would be.
I take it, all 20 of Sunderlands have now arrived?
Gutted to see more of the gas buses going, shame we couldn't have the 40 gas buses and 20 Electrics, what will they replace at Reading buses?
Hopefully by end of next week, we have more than 4 Yutongs in service....
(15 Jan 2025, 9:50 pm)Michael wrote That was quicker than I thought it would be.I’m not sure what they’re replacing at reading as I’m not familiar with their fleet. It’s a massive shame they are going though, they are by far the best buses to work on. As with any well built bus when something goes wrong it goes really wrong but that only happens once in a blue moon, the gas buses are not much bother now. On inspections you can almost guarantee the same 3 jobs on them then they’re straight back out the door

(16 Jan 2025, 9:15 pm)F114TML wrote Not sure on the fitters' perspective but from a driver's, any combination of:
- Engine light
- APS Light
- "Brake Linings Worn"
Neither of which are particularly major issues, as they're all yellow warning lights and don't affect performance, unlike a certain cloud-shaped light that appears on all the diseasels. Only once have I had a red engine light on a gasbus. By comparison, I've had three E400s throw one.

(16 Jan 2025, 10:35 pm)ReDemPTiion wrote If they have then they were the part of the original batch for Slatyford. Slatyford were due 73089-73106 so I wonder what fleet numbers Slatyford will get when we eventually get them.

I think all of them are now but here's the official list of what's moved, just incase anyone needs to update their own personal fleet lists.

(17 Jan 2025, 1:43 am)stagecoachfan wrote According to the 2025 Stagecoach Bus Handbook, the original plan was that Stockton's first 40 were going to be 73132-73171.
(17 Jan 2025, 10:11 am)ReDemPTiion wrote Stocktons original plan is 39 buses but now you add on Slatyford’s 18 for a total of 57 but because they’re going fully electric I think they’re getting 62 or 64 so I wonder where the others are coming from.
(17 Jan 2025, 10:41 am)F114TML wrote 19432 is now at Sunderland, on the 18.
(17 Jan 2025, 8:38 am)ReDemPTiion wrote It’s not cancelled the funding was for Slatyford they can’t really just cancel it. The issue is the depot is too old. To put the chargers in they’d have to remove the roof but they had noise complaints the last time they done that so I believe the plan is to knock the depot down and change it around so the buses are on the other side to where they are now.I can't help but feel like that'll be more noisy.

(17 Jan 2025, 7:57 pm)ReDemPTiion wrote Does the 115 in the morning then 72’s from 8:59 until 13:35 trip then the 14:50 115 then a few 72’s and two 71’s. I’ll never understand why they chose the 72’s for the scholar work it really doesn’t need a double decker.
