Am I right in thinking that 1552/56/59 are still 'banned' from being allocated to the 5/5A, being allocated daily to other, less strenuous, services such as the 15?

I'm sure it was around a year ago now that I heard this to be the case - with two buses of the weekday PVR being covered daily by lower specification buses such as Cadets?

I don't think they are banned, but they have had major unit replacements, and engineers suggested they be kept local.

Does seem to have been for a while though..
