(30 Oct 2022, 12:04 pm)cbma06 wrote There’s really no where you can view County Durham bus timetables as pdfs , except for journeys running into Tyne and Wear by Nexus site, but Weardale has timetables on there website , Arriva still do pdfs, DCC used to have a full list of pdfs for all bus services in Durham County, but since covid started the bus section on the site has practically been abandoned, DCC was re contacted and there said that since there installed new software there’s been technical issues and hopefully the pdfs will be back in a few weeks, but this was a few months ago now, and at the moment DCC has the stupid crappy timetable system as what GNE have on there website. The system/provider DCC now use for its timetables is absolutely woeful, now have to pick a certain time you wish to travel and have to click left or right if you want an earlier/later departure for each run. Worse still with the changes taking place this weekend there's lots of misinformation on it, showing timetables for Scarlet Band that they won on tender before they decided to close and some services they have just guessed the times such as the 108/109 and as such are showing incorrect times.

Worse still DCC haven't put out anything resembling a list of changes that are taking place this weekend which is not ideal when the likes of the 84/85/95/96 are changed considerably to the times they've previously been running to, one of the pages on the main DCC site still listing changes from August some of which were frequency reductions on Arriva services which are now being reversed on weekdays at least in most places.
Granted some of the companies could've maybe done a bit more to indicate services they're running, not heard a peep out of Hodgsons to indicate what they're running in County Durham from tomorrow, only thing noted is them taking on the 16 in Darlington although it doesn't help that the fallout left by Scarlet Band has meant everything has had to be picked up, planned, sourced etc very quickly which is far from ideal.
