It's just at very low speeds isn't it? So you don't waste diesel when pulling away hence they're completely useless on routes which don't stop start every 2 minutes so it's just an older B5TL pretty much.
It's why they're good on stuff in places like London and theory the 39/40 in Newcastle etc.
