One vehicle you forgot to mention about the Northumbria Coaches takeover is the one off Bluebird LMB with Plaxton Pointer 2 body (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...8773240540). Nortoriously unreliable and difficult to get parts for. Was sold to Huddersfield Bus Station who ended up scrapping it after it had an accident.
Other oddball vehicles owned (so not including loan vehicles like the E200 Dart) by Go North East include.....
7157, a Volvo B9R / Plaxton Elite - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1478654902

9054, a Scania N94UB Omnicity - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...1131631396

There was some variations in standard vehicles too, for example, Leyland Olympian / ECW number 3674 was fitted with a Gardner 5LXCT engine whilst MCW Metrobus Mk2 number 3787 (C787OCN) was re-engined with a Volvo THD100E engine, and Leyland National Mk2 number 4675 (UPT675V) had been re-engined with a Cummins 6BT (same as a Dart) engine. Plus there's a few oddities amongst the Optare Solo SR in terms of dimensions.

Always makes you think why, like I could understand if they had a batch but when it's one random bus which isn't the same as any others then what's the point.

they've pretty much had every single type of bus at some point on loan/trial or full service.
There's quite a few like E200, E300, E300 (Transbus), B8RLE, DB300. There's a few which are still in service today.

I want to put my neck on the line and say have they ever had any MAN vehicles, long term, in recent years? I'm sure there's something but I'm struggling to think of anything.
DAF/VDL vehicles have pretty unpopular across the board though for years now, probably wasn't they're wisest move partnering with Arriva Bus & Coach because who wants to deal with a competitor. I know the 'Volvo' Merit was made to get around the Cadet's but that was never really sensible long term.
Shame they've left the market altogether as they weren't bad vehicles imo, even known it's not exactly clear whether the Streetdeck is effectively a modified one.
