NEMSA have published a load of documents today, including their franchising scheme assessment, and consultation is now open.
You can view the documents and respond here: https://www.northeast-ca.gov.uk/consulta...aveyoursay
There's also dozens of in person events, starting at the RVI on 20th July and ending in Peterlee Library on 25th September.

Like what is this expecting to do. The North East aint anything like Edinburgh, London, Manchester we dont get the funding. Hell GNE have gotten funding for new electric buses for there flagship routes and they aint even on them
Franchise in the North East is a bad idea it wont work and this plan just seem a lot of gibberish
It'll all go tits up in someway. Nice to see kimmy finally stopped play Grim Reaper long enough to actually start this.
How long she been the mayor now and has now ONLY started talking about this yet this was her whole campaign was to "get the buses back under control"
Also why use a Red E200 which looks to be in Seaham im assuming with a company I dont even recognise. Its all a load of bull and its not gonna work
