(Yesterday, 3:08 pm)Kuyoyo wrote There’s no such thing as an X4 board at Stockton on Sundays - all boards with the exception of the 2 7s and the 3 15s work on the principal of ‘One Driver, One Bus’. That means the driver takes the bus out of the depot at the start of their shift and retains it until the end. The trips cancelled this morning and this afternoon are all on the same duties - hence why there are large gaps. There are a few boards that may be split between two shifts but those tend to be one that is on a short early shift then a short late turn.
Aye that's fair, must admit I'm surprised they haven't got agency staff in trying to get a grip of things.
Well unless they have and they were all doing the GNR instead.
The extra cost long term surely has to outweight missing contracts and leaving 3 hour gaps which isn't useful for anyone.
