We have a Bus Rapid Transport road in the region, it’s seldom used. Unless he’s planning on running arctics on the X66 and routes into Newcastle from the MetroCentre via the Centrelink it’s a loss. Realistically a Bus Rapid Transit system isn’t feasible in the region as it’s not densely populated enough and there’s realistically nowhere sensible to put one. I’d personally much rather see a complete overhaul on routing through Newcastle City Centre, removing them completely off Blackett Street, as unpopular as it is.
