whats that got to with it? the Angel Brand goes past the Angel, Indigo is not an attraction, its just GNE couldn't come up with a decent brand and have to copy it from a different area and still looks horrible.

I'd argue it looks better than some tatty yellow Darts so it's an improvement... Hopefully the drivers will look after them but judging by the state of their Citaros I fear it's unlikely

I'd say the body of the buses themselves look rather smart, it's just the condition of some that bring them down in people's estimations.

The branding team have had a productive day at Saltmeadows today working on the indiGo Optare Solo's. The line next to the east side fence are taking on the nearside branding while those next to the wash bay are being done on the offside.
The buses with one side completed have upper and lower branding plus the window branding.

Discussion of the indiGo Solo SRs had cropped up in a discussion between him and Jimmi in one of this photos from yesterday (https://flic.kr/p/wBpMmS). Jimmi said "Yep, I think all of the IndiGo Solo SR's have arrived now for GNE and yes they will be replacing the MPD's on the current East Durham routes."
Because he said 'i think', i thought i'd confirm that all 14 had arrived for Jimmi but also for Alex too - i also added that 653 had been BRANDED and then he seems to have got an idea that it has been repainted...

He doesn't seem to be the most knowledgeable or truly understanding about everything going on, anyone who views my Flickr on a regular basis will often see his name pop up in the comments section on my photos asking questions about things, mainly Arriva.

Also he seems to be spamming all of Dan's pictures asking 100's questions haha

Anyone have any idea how long the Streetdeck demonstrator is expected to be on the X21, btw? I'm sure my eldest would like a ride on it, at some point. We saw it at Durham while we had a rather long wait for a delayed bus home, earlier.

 since Consett Solos are branded for Venture (from the bought company years ago), It would of looked better if the peterlee solos were in the same base colour with OK Way (Since OK was a presence in Peterlee for years before been bought out by GNE) on the side or even got called East Durham Links with the branding covering the Solos with images of the old Pitts in seaham, murton and easington collierys etc.. at the rear and sides instead of this ridiculous branding of Indigo which has no reflection what so ever down here.
