(13 Aug 2015, 7:26 pm)MurdnunoC wrote I always preferred the films to the television series. I used to watch them over and over again when I was a child, never grew tired of them, still watch them when they air on Bank Holidays and whatnot.
Blakey was an amazing character, the perfect 'straight-man' foil to Stan and Jack's buffoonery. Despite looking older than the both of them (well, Stan at least), he was only in his 30s when the series was filmed.

Always a good episode to catch up on, or see for the first time.

Glad to see the old intro make an appearance, it also showed the current Dr's/Nurses... it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9Q8Xb67m0g
Does contain spoilers from the Saturday episode (in the clips)

I liked some things about the trailer and I'm willing give the cartoon a chance but how will it compare to the original and am I too biased in its favour? Time will tell!

Although as a youngster back then, I didn't appreciate them for who they were - I am not sure anyone else could have made it like they did.
