Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - August 2015

7487 on a Whitby based X93 seems rather unusual!

Do they? I asked the supervisor a while ago if the X15/X18 interwork and he said that they didn't.

Will be swapped in town every time a 7 comes in, the E400 can't operate down by holly hurst road as the trees are to low and also there's a diversion on the route which sees them going down Gladstone street instead of the A68 dual carriageway, if there not swapped every hour somebody will be getting there backsides kicked, they done it last bank holiday too

2836 as the spare bus for 19s today seen as though the deckers are on the 7

I don't have any evidence to back it up, but I'm fairly confident they don't interwork. From looking at the timetable I can't see a reason for them to need to interwork, and I don't see the point of buses swapping routes in Alnwick Bus Station when the X15 and X18 both arrive together.

The X18 does have a Sunday PVR of 6 so another MAX spec bus will be needed to make up the numbers.

Don't forget they work on 418 journeys too

Yeah I'm pretty sure they do, the short one's anyway, think they do an X18 to Alnwick then a X15, then an X18 back to Newcastle, or something similar.

They also have to connect to the Omnicity that operates the 418 as Tyresmoke said
