Part of the changes, or has it always ran?

BIB: Based on this comment, did you see many of the changes today? Just wondering what loadings etc were like? Smile

It has always been like that. Works off the 1628 arrival at Woodhorn on the 35a. Out of Newcastle at 1710.

As for the changes, I've not been up there (see the GNE thread as to why) just explaining the ins and outs of that turn.

Ah cheers Smile

Have a fun time on your course (if that's possible? Wink )

Would like to see the 43 extended to Morpeth beyond 5/6 at night, depending on how it goes during the day...
RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2015
However, I have got the vehicle allocation sheet and as of today:

43/44/45 PVR 12: 5 Pulsars (2 boards marked for Euro5 with a minimum capacity of 36), 7 decker boards of which one is marked down for a Volvo B7TL (Euro4, minimum capacity 84) and the rest can be allocated either a DAF DB250 or a Volvo B7TL
306: the Pulsar previously allocated to this to cover the school turn and the 554s has now been replaced by a Volvo B7TL (Euro4, minimum capacity 84)
51: Allocation calls for 2 Euro5 Solos, minimum capacity 36 - presumably the evening 57As work off these

X7/X8/X9: official allocation is; 3 Pulsars and 1 Gemini on X9, 3 Pulsars and 6 Geminis on X7/X8
58: Allocated a Euro3 MPD

X20: As Tommy stated, this calls for either Volvo B7TL or DAF DB250s for now

The 554s are all Nexus solos normally

The AM turns should be a NEXUS Solo as it then works onto the 84/84A (the same bus does/did a round trip on the 55 and a 54 to Whitley Bay). The evening ones were on the end of a 306 board that worked onto scholars.

The new X12 timetable from 4th October is now online - https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/globalassets...041015.pdf

It confirms that from Thursday 15th October we will also be running later journeys to and from Newcastle Smile
The 1800 from Durham (currently terminates at CLS) will run through to Newcastle, along with a new 1900 service from Durham to Newcastle. They will return at 1910 and 2010, arriving into Durham at 2000 and 2100, running through to Middlesbrough at 2010 and 2110 as per the current timetable.

Yet another little expansion of our services, offering quicker evening journeys and later options from Newcastle than the current 1830 departure

Which 58 are you referring to?

The only 58 I'm aware of that Arriva operate by looking on their website is between East Hartford to Hartley Square.

Whilst I'm not complaining, I do find the decision a bit baffling, unless somebody else is paying for it of course?

The current 1730, 1800 and 1830 Durham-CLS/Newcastle bound runs seem to always be dead when I use them. There's generally only two or three passengers on from my own experiences.

that will be good having a later departure from newcastle, the last time i done the x18/x15 i had to get a explorer ticket as i missed the 1830 depature by a matter of minutes so that means now theres later journeys i can save myself £2 and get a £7.70 day ticket instead of a £9.70 explorer
RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2015
Well it only took part of day 1 for Jesmond to put an Solo on the X16 instead of a MPD NHS branded 2847 was on the 1833 Morpeth to Kirkhill (1758 ex Haymarket)

It was the C1/2/3, after the changes a couple of months ago to a more frequent service it become Blyth MPD operated.

Oh and 4656 has broken down on the A66 near Longnewton.

4656 has just left Darlington at 1320 on Service X66... Cant be on the A66.

It's always possible they got it started again, although it's also possible that I got the wrong fleet number.

There's nothing for the 58 to interwork with in Cramlington, unless it goes to Blyth to do something. It finishes late at night iirc, so no.
