So in turn everyone had missed the Point as it's Connections 4 - Heworth - Concord - Washington Galleries - Shiney Row and Houghton, and not 4 Connections which would then indicate the 4 main connection/interchange points.

I do think GNE may of done that on purpose to catch people out judging by the two comments above, otherwise the Brand Name in my opinion is pretty straight forward to understand.

No, I hadn't seen that.
Just incase people think I am David and repeating my post on there - it isn't me.

Can anyone confirm why Shiney Row is only mentioned on the bus and not the fb promo material?

Found this on GNE fb page in regard to X25, "You should see an improvement with the reliability of the service in the near future with the introduction of single deck vehicles". Possible transfer of scanias from 56 once deckers arrive?

I think a few of the X25 is now single Deckers not sure though. But the 56 vehicles won't be available for a bit of time yet, unless 4 could be transferred before the Deckers arrive? Not sure Deptford could cope with that though!

Well they seemed to not mind lending one to X20 the other day. Well it has been said they due Dec/Jan so could be classed as soon in GNE eyes. To be fair the last few times I've seen it it was single decker. I would imagine some of the 56 scanias will go to prince bishop to replace the ex-orbit scania

I just think some people need to get out a bit more - all this debate about how many places mentioned on Connections 4 ! Surely, its all about Connections 4 - so connections at Houghton, Shiney, Washington or indeed anywhere where you can make a connection between high frequency buses. Simples Cool

X25 at the moment seems to be 2x B10s & 3x tridents, although 1 trident runs off to do a scholars run am/pm. With the whey aye 50 due to get scania omnicity off the cobalt they could possibly get those scanias off there. Chester also has 4944 although last time i seen this bus it was vor.

Also... 11 Mercedes Citaro for MetroLINK -ALL HERE =D - Enter service mid October at a date to be confirmed. - Confirmed from GNE they will enter from the 20th October.

8 Wright Streetlite for Drifter and 8 Wright Streetlite for Saltwell Park, which are due to start arriving towards the end of October - Drifter variants first. They are 2 different lengths for those who like the details.

12 Optare Solo SR for Venture, which are due to arriving mid November.

34 Volvo B9/Wright Gemini for Fab Fifty Six and Cobalt Clipper, which are due to start arriving late December.

From the initial arrival dates, it will take a few weeks for everything to arrive, be fitted with the key smart card readers, have blinds programmed, branded, tested and ready to go.

In terms of the additional 15 vehicles which could be arriving next year, details have not been confirmed. What I will say, is that there is 1 route which has had no change for a while, and a lot of you have speculated for a while that it will get upgrades before the Waggonway. That one!

It might be spam but it's better to keep posting it than Rob haven't to do it all again.

Didn't get fleet number, but one of the Pronto's has electrical problems.
Could be water ingress, but his rear brake and indicator lights are like Blackpool Illuminations!

Edit: Red Arrows running regulated.
Working in pairs into Eldon Square, the ex-ttx has switched to NIS and is running light. An ex-London President came in just in front of it, picked up passengers.

Of course '100 new buses for our centenary year' (as quoted on the back of the new Citylink Versa) sounds a lot better than '102 new buses', as it plays on the aspect of the 100th year.

More than likely will be 11.7m Versas I think, Don't forget the Prince Bishops getting Geminis in March also I it was said.

The thing I want to know is, what is going to happen with the Streetlite Demo once the Versas go on the 58, is it staying with GNE to be tested on another route or is it going elsewhere as I reckon it should be tested on the M2/M3.
