Anything and Everything

RE: Anything and Everything
Listening to my nephew and noting the change in the semantic language he uses.

It wasn't so long ago that everything was 'awesome'; nowadays it seems everything is 'epic'.

That made me smile.  My 7 year old is the same - 'mint' is now 'epic'.

And, and I'm not quite sure how to spell it, 'Bow Ya' whenever he scores a goal on Fifa or gets one over anybody.  Normally accompanied by a fist pump.  I believe this one has its origins in Nickleodian but I'm still a bit mystified by it.

Hahah. I believe it's spelled 'Booyah!'.

I occasionally use that word myself - it's been around since the early naughties at least.

I can't seem to find the non related outings and reviews so this is probably the next best thread to put it in.

My 787 for today's flight to Orlando Sanford is G-TUIB. The second 787 new to Thompson in 2013.
It arrived on a positioning flight from Manchester at around 7:45.

When you have 3 assignments to do for uni but you put your memory stick in to do some work but then take it out 5 minutes later saying... "Na, i'll do it next week".

I have to say, I love The Grand National and The Cheltenham Festival.

Much prefer the jump racing to the flat - longer races gives you more race for your money Tongue

Dubai plans world’s tallest skyscraper

Dubai property developer Emaar intends to construct the tallest building in the world, according to Chairman Mohamed Alabbar. The new skyscraper simply called ‘The Tower’ will be taller than the 828-meter Burj Khalifa, which is currently the world’s tallest building constructed in 2010.

Might as well, they have the money, shame they won't accept people from Syria, would be easier and saver from them.

Hopefully it won't be another shoddily built fire trap.

Hopefully not but known the last buildings they've built, they aren't very good, its just showing they have money and have no sense of safety at all.

Wonder how many people will die building this one? Because the people of Dubai won't be getting dirty.

Well, I didn't get where I am today by not doing my essays....

(Actually, I mostly steered clear of the need for essays by the medium of maths and bad smells)
